i know that the NES games can be played with the Wiimote but what about N64, SNES, Genisis, and Turbo Graphix?

turbo graphix games can be played with the wiimote as well, but n64, snes, and genisis are all vc controller or gamecube controller.

Many (if not all) Genesis games will play with the Wiimote, though this can be awkward because one of the genesis's three buttons is mapped to the A button, meaning that you have to remove your thumb from the D-pad to use it.

Oh, and while SNES games are technically compatible with the GCN controller, many games do not work well with its button layout. (eg. Super Mario World)

Go to Nintendo's web site and they have a page which lists the games and which controller is compatable.
