do you ever think that gameboy games would came to the vc? like gameboy color games? i miss pokemon silver and stuff now that i can't play it on my ds....haha
This topic has been brought a few times so I did decide to go look for any articles or something about it and I couldn't find anything. Oh well, I can always bust out my SP... Â
hahaha, i traded in my sp when i got my ds. speaking of that, this is the main reason i went for the wii. the ds has picked up so much momentum with the games and the wifi connection, and i thought the wii might have something similar. when the psp came out, many people thought that it would beat the ds for sure, but the ds came back. i think most people are in agreement that now the ds is beating the psp. and i also think right now the wii is beating the ps3 too =]

If you follow the release of Nintendo's Console releases along with their handheld releases in the last 15 years and then see how the scale changed once the reader was released for the Gamecube it makes sense that just about 2 years into the Wii's cycle we'll see them.

No I'm pretty sure it's ok to post what I think, I'm almost positive I saw it in the TOS when I signed up.
Maybe later. Its all part of their Strategy. They are going to get all the gameboy games trashed, then bring them back to the VC to get more money. And I really would like to play Mario Land 2 on the VC

AN example is someone posts something about news about SSBB, for example, like say Sonic is the game. They say that he is definately going to be there and they don't have any proff other than their brother or sousin or friend who works for Nintendo said so and they do not post a link with proof. Basically, I'm saying don't say things that you don't know to be true as facts because that leads to very long discussions....
I wish Nintendo would do that. It wouldn't be any GBA games probably because the DS plays them. I'll keep my eyes open about this topic though. Â nintendofreak_2

Doesn't the DS only play GBA games and not regular Gameboy games?Well yes and no. See the only thing keping the DS from playing GB games is a litle screw in GB cartidges. If you could remove that screw, in theory, the DS would be able to play the GB game because the GBA slot is essentially a GBA.
yeah, the ds only plays GBA games so he's saying that on the vc there would be no GBA games since the ds plays it. it might only have game boy color and regular game boy games.
But didn't the GBA only play Gameboy color games? And either way, couldn't removing the screw harm he cartridge?FLYmeatwad
If you look at a GB cartridge, the screw doesn't seem to be too close to any of the memory storage in the cartridge and I do know some people that have tried to do this and they said it did work but they didn't show me to prove it so right now it is onl a concept.
