I might

Yes, I can't wait. This is one of the best weeks in Nintendo gaming history. There are two Wii games I want (Wario and Blob), 1 DS game (Kirby), 2 VC games, and obviously Mega Man 9.
i plan on buyin it somewhere down the line. where the hell is the GS review?air_wolf_cubed
Gamespot is always late with their reviews. Read others instead.

I read all them. But i'd like a review from the site I spend my time onI say no for these reasons.
1. On X-Play, Morgan Webb gave the game a 4 out of 5, but it did not look like it deserved that score.
2. The 2D graphics are lower than the original Sonic Advance on the GBA
3. "A lot of shaking in the game"- Morgan Webb. More like way too much if you have to touch EVERY fluppin money bag.
4. 6 hours long? That's one of the reasons why the Force Unleashed got a 2 out of 5 on X-Play, only I want to buy TFU instead of this.
[QUOTE="alexh_99"][QUOTE="AlexSays"]A lot of people plan on buying it.
Just like every other game in existence. ;)
AlexSays
what about Chicken Shoot?
People bought that too! :P
There's been few games that not a single person has purchased.
yeah no more than 4000.
If you call that "alot", i wouldnt want see a game that sold "little"

When it comes to games, the terms "alot" and "alittle" are always misused.
If the developers want to sell 25 copies, and they sell 28, then the game sold a lot.
If the developers want to sell 3 million copies, and it only sells 1 million, everyone says it only sold a little.
You think the developers of Chicken Shoot were expecting 500k+ sales?

i wasent comparing it to what the developers wanted, i was comparing it to other wii games.
compared to brawl - little
galaxy- little
Re4 - little
Mario kart - little
All of these cases i should have put substansously(sp?) infront of the little.
I guess it is two different view points. Tomato tomatoe

You're comparing Chicken Shoot to Brawl, Galaxy, Mario Kart, and Resident Evil?
lol
But yeah, I understand your point.
It's just different ways of looking at things.

Im comparing the sales. Not the quality of the game.
When you said that alot of people are planning to buy a game, like everygame in existense, i showed you a game that alot of people did not buy.
:) whatever, chickenshoot should be renamed chickensh*t anyway

But how much something sells - whether it's a lot or a little - is irrespective of what the company anticipates. If I am so arrogant as to think my game will sell 10 billion copies, but my game sells 200 million, would you say that it sold a little, despite it outselling GTAIV (10 million) and all the Sims (100 million)?

That picture made me giggle.
But doesn't everyone talk about how 3rd party games don't sell a lot on the Wii?
When they usually sell like around 500k. lol
It could just be me though. If I made a game, I'd be happy if five people bought it.

I hope you don't expect people to take you seriously when you make statements like that.

You may be happy, but you'd be poor. And then, once you eat creamed corn out of the can for the third month in a row, you won't be so happy, will you??!?!?
*Most* 3rd party games don't sell well on Wii. It's a bit rocky, because devs seem to be under the impression that core games won't sell on Wii, but then, most casual titles not made by Nintendo don't sell well either. 3rd parties tend to do better on other plats.

In case anyone is interested this is what the IGN review said about the widescreen
"Wario Land: Shake It! runs in progressive-scan and technically supports a widescreen mode, too, although not really. The experience is presented in 16:9 mode, but the gameplay action itself is constrained to the 4:3 presentation -- the extra space on the left and right sides is utilized for a handful of icons and nothing more. It's really disappointing because this is a gorgeous game that would have looked even better running full resolution on widescreen TVs. Contrary to some fan speculation, this would not have been an impossibility with a little ingenuity on the developer's part. And besides, Nintendo is supposed to be setting a precedent for third-parties, a difficult task when some of its own games don't adhere to the visual standard."
[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"][QUOTE="ag1052"]is it true that it doesnt have widescreen??? if so thats just dang lazy...ag1052
It doesn't??????
Crap
Well if true that drops it down the line as far as priority
can anyone confirm this???According to the IGN review, it technically supports 16:9 but the actual field of play is 4:3, and they just fill the sides with icons etc.
I don't get why everybody complains so much about $50.00? New releases here in Australia are $100.00 ($85.00 US by current exchange rates). I would love to pay $50.00 for new releases, it would cut my gaming bill in half
Check this one out. Link. Haha, this movie will show You everything You need to know.KungfuKittenROFL That was too awesome

Actually it does support 16:9 (Somehow), only that instead of black borders on the edges of the screen , you get some kind of brown borders that tell you the number of Item thingys (I think).
