Uhhh well I always enjoyed it more, especially now since I have moved my Wii much further away than my gamecube was.

And as far as last gen wireless controllers go, Wavebirds are one of the best.

Wavebirds are awesome. If you need another controller, may as well go for that.

YES! I had a gamecube and the wavebird at the time was the best wireless controller you could have. Now it's pretty much par for the course, but still it feels sturdy and performs even better.

I would probably say yeah. I didn't own a Wavebird until the Wii but I love Wireless a lot more than wired. Usually when my brothers play Smash Bros., they have to use wired controllers and as a result, they usually tip the Wii console over because they pull on their controllers... -_-

I would say it's worth it, and the battery life is good too.

I don't think it's worth it, you lose too much by losing the rumble.

A better idea is to get a Gamecube cord extender and just use the Gamecube controller still

HERE

They come in a bunch of colors, the one I gave you was clear but find the one you want most, about 5 bucks and you keep the rumble.

although rumble is taken away and it uses batteries, it is well worth the purchase. Being wireless is better than being wired any day. plus, you can switch the channels on the controllers and mess with other people's minds :P

Wavebird are phenomenal controllers. No rumble but otherwise amazing. I had two wired controller and still got one. I still keep one wireless and a Wavebird around for when I play GC on Wii.

I just bought another wavebird the other day for tworeasons

one reason was i need another gc controller andi think wavebird's are the best wireless controllers.

the other reason was whenever i beat my friends the would sometimes pull on the cord controllers so hard it would knok the wii over and this drove me bonkers.

Yes, wavebirds are worth it. I have two wired GCN controllers (one orange, one black) and two wavebirds. I can hold SSBM tournaments whenever I want, since I don't have to worry about if my friends already brought over their own controllers.

EDIT: Also, I honestly haven't missed the rumble when using wavebirds. Some people find it too much of a loss, but I prefer the freedom of wireless over the rumble. Where there's a lot of foot traffic in my living room (where my Wii is), wireless controllers solve a problem that controller extension cables can't.

About 30 dollars

If it's a Wavebird it doesn't have rumble.

I'd say no.It doesn't have rumble and eats AA batteries. Just get a controller extension cord.

you can probably find one for cheap nowadays so definitley. I had 2 wavebirds and i traded in my cube (with my 1 Black Controller) and really, we never used the controller outside when we first bought the system and for a 3rd player. Wavebirds are the best controller for the gamecube.

I'd say get one, the only reason I don't have one is because my Wii just fits in my entertainments unit while standing up meaning I can't plug in GC controllers :( I'll probably fix that problem someday though :P

If you don't really care about rumble then go for it.

I'd say yes, but Nintendo has stopped making them and the price has shot up. you're looking at $50-$60 for a new one or $30-$40 for a used one. Their worth it if you're buying it used. I can't see paying $60 for one controller though.
