Uhhh well I always enjoyed it more, especially now since I have moved my Wii much further away than my gamecube was.
And as far as last gen wireless controllers go, Wavebirds are one of the best.
I would probably say yeah. I didn't own a Wavebird until the Wii but I love Wireless a lot more than wired. Usually when my brothers play Smash Bros., they have to use wired controllers and as a result, they usually tip the Wii console over because they pull on their controllers... -_-
I would say it's worth it, and the battery life is good too.
I don't think it's worth it, you lose too much by losing the rumble.
A better idea is to get a Gamecube cord extender and just use the Gamecube controller still
HERE
They come in a bunch of colors, the one I gave you was clear but find the one you want most, about 5 bucks and you keep the rumble.
I just bought another wavebird the other day for tworeasons
one reason was i need another gc controller andi think wavebird's are the best wireless controllers.
the other reason was whenever i beat my friends the would sometimes pull on the cord controllers so hard it would knok the wii over and this drove me bonkers.

Jaysonguy
the 6 doller shipping kills it though. get a wavebird.
I'd say get one, the only reason I don't have one is because my Wii just fits in my entertainments unit while standing up meaning I can't plug in GC controllers :( I'll probably fix that problem someday though :P
If you don't really care about rumble then go for it.
