Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie will be at Xboxlive and Wiiware. Nintendo will let both games be launched on xboxlive, but it still will have the opening with N64 logo and etc... but to be on xbox live it must be on Wiiware too, Nintendo "said". Uhull!!HugoMattos

Uh no. Nintendo doesn't own any part of Banjo anymore so they have no way to get it on their system. They also removed the N64 logo from the XBLA release. And why does everyone keep saying it'll come to WiiWare? It's an N64 game so it'll be on the Virtual Console. But it's not coming out on either.

[QUOTE="Mitazaki"]

rare doesnt own the licence to the james bond games so they can not release goldeneye without having to no doubt pay activision to do so since they do own the licence to make bond games.

Jaysonguy

False

Rare still owns the rights to Goldeneye

The license wasn't transferred correctly when it left Rare. Rare owns all the rights to the game they made.

Nintendo can't do one single thing about that. They're helpless as a newborn baby when it comes to anything with Goldeneye.

Someone not doing the correct paperwork let Rare destroy any hope of Nintenod getting that game.

Link? LOL just kidding, I dont dont know the full story but even if rare still owns the rights to goldeneye they dont own the rights to the james bond licence which activision does. Think about it, say you want to release a game but I own the licence to the main character. Yeah I am just going to let that happen lol.

So for goldeneye to be on either VC or XBLA both rare and activision would need to come to some agreement. Neither nintendo or microsoft have much of a say in it but you always get the idiot that blames nintendo for goldeneye not going on xbla or vc.

As I said I dont know the full story and I doubt anyone does other than rare so its pretty much just an idea.

Rare is owned by Microsoft.
Owned.
If I own a lollipop that doesn't mean I have to let you lick it.

Wrong to everything you said there

Nintendo has no ties whatsoever to those games and cannot release them. They are not Nintendo games, were never owned by Nintendo in the past, are not owned by Nintendo now.

You will never see them on a Nintendo system
