What a laugh

The overly hyped game Scribblenauts or whatever it is called, turned out to be flawed and not as good as it was thought to be....

everyone told me how could u not want this game and not buy it

well, now u know =D

i may seem spiteful, and i apologize, just wanted to bring that out ... i really don't know why.....

its a real shame it didn't work like everyone hoped it would.... with 5 or 6 pages of reviews already made, it must of been a huge profit and success

until people begin to realize "hey, this sucks... i should've rented a game that i would only spend 6 hours on!"

so lesson learned to many, but not all.... things may not always be what they seem :O lol fail at being phyosophical :P

Just curious, have you played it? Or are you just basing this off reviews and opinions?

I really didn't end up liking it. I thought it was really boring. And yes, I did play through the whole thing. :\

I think it is EXTREMELY fun. But with that said I do agree that the camera/movement is kinda messed up. One other thing that bothers me is when you try to like attach the rope it has to be clear of EVERYTHING else or it won't do anything. But these are only minor flaws. It is still a fantastic game, and there is nothing else out there to compare it to.

I think people who think it's bad were the ones who thought the game would do absolutely everything they wanted it to do (I mean, the objects' interactions with each other), which's not true and I knew from the start it wouldn't happen. I enjoy the game for what it is and love it :D

I never expected the game to knock my socks off. I simply liked the idea of it and was glad for something new (i.e not another turnbased rpg). I like the game, but in all I have clocked in less then 10 hours.Will47

But I wasn't hyped for this game at all. I knew that the creators themselves had to add every solutions so they might not have been as creative as us. Half of my solutions don't work, though they should. And the controls do suck. Thankfully my friend loves this game to bit so her love rubs off on me a little so I don't really hate this game as much as I should. Plus, I got the HAT. So I love it mostly for that... Anyway, it's not that great. I would have just rented it. I've only played it for two days and that was enough.

That was actually the same thing i was saying,a game that was hyped but it didn't quite satisfy some players.One thing though,i really thought that this game would have gotten a higher score from Gamespot like a 9.0 or 9.5 but i guess that if it wasn't for the controls according to most people,it would have gotten it.

Well, forget you. I just got done playing Scribblenauts, and hadn't even heard of it until a few weeks ago. It exceeded my expectations, I'm going to pay 3,300 yen to buy the entire game. It's the best physics game ever created.

It is not a 6-hour game, it offers much more game time than that. And even though it has flaws the game is still a lot of fun, which is the most important thing you could want in a game.

Was it overhyped? Absolutely. Does a score of 8.0 make it a bad game? No.

I think it's the player's fault if the controls don't work, because I have absolutely no problems with the controls. Maybe because I know how to play the game properly? I don't know.

But anyway, for someone who hasn't played the game, you sure have a strong opinion of the game. I guess it's easy for people to believe what they read.

The only thing that wasn't good about the game was the controls.

If you can get past the controls, it's a really fun game; one you shouldn't miss out on. It would be a shame not to give this game a fair shake.:(
