What is the best character in Super Smash Bros Brawl?

I want to see everyone's opoinion because I can't decide.

How many times are people going to resurrect this same question??? For god's sake, just post in an existing topic!

It all depends on your playing style, but i would say metaknight

If you're playing no items one on one matches (typical tournament rules), then Metaknight is probably the best. As far as I know, tiers haven't really been made for playing under other conditions, but I've heard Metaknight does poorly in 3 or 4 player matches. Anyway, I'm best with Snake, so personally, I think he's the best overall.

The best Super Smash Bros Brawl character for me is Meta Knight and then Sonic.

From what I've heard Metaknight would be the best. IIRC it was even banned from being used in a tournament? Personally I'm not big on Metaknight, I prefer Wolf or Lucario.

I always play as mario. My best character. Snake is probably my second. He is good but im better with mario but thats probably because i use him a lot more.

My favorite Super Smash Bros. Brawl character is Metaknight, no one else even comes clase to him except for Arceus from Pokemon, and Lucas, that wicked psyco kid. I also like Zelda.

Jigglypuff for me. No force can stop the puff when I'm in control.

It depends on your preference and skills, personally i suck big time with characters like Falco and Metaknight, and i'm really good with Zelda and of course, my main Peach, nobody stops the royalty.

That's entirely opinion based, and it depends on who you use. You could have someone using Peach easily beat Meta Knight. I tend to use Link and Marth a lot. Kirby and the Ice Climbers are quite fun, also.

MR. Game & Watch is my best, something about his moveset makes it hell of easy for me to use him.

Well, I use Sonic and Snake the most, but it is really your preference. I'm best with Sonic and Snake obiously since I use them the most, but I'm also good with Dedede, Olimar, Wolf, and Caption Falcon. where as I suck with Pit, Meta Knight, and pretty much all the other fast characters ( Except Sonic and Falcon for some reason:?).

I tried the reader cleaning kit for it, didn't help.

My favorites are Snake and Ness, and sonic is pretty good too.

Well i play best with iceclimbers and lucario is my favorite.
But overall people have a real easy time with metaknight.

Funny thing, it may be the official number 1, but here with my firends and cousins (we are all SSBB frequent players) nobody uses Metaknight, in fact, MetaKnight is the less used character here in my house, that's why i love Brawl, there are no standars for anyone.

No, not at all, i only play with friends (they are not very good, they are more Mario Kart people) and family (they are at my level), and we dont see Metaknight as a great character, i mean, our mains are Peach, Mr. G&W, Lucas and Marth respectably, from that we going with Zelda, Ike, Pit, Ice Climbers, Kirby, Mario, Luigi, Fox, Zamus, Bowser, etc. and at the bottom we have Dedede (although i'm trying to learn with him), Wario (one of my cousins have been playing pretty well with him lately) and Metaknight, i dont know, i guess that none of us have seen the potential in this character.

I think that we have concentrated more in the characters we already know, i have to say that sometimes, battles are pretty intensive here (specially Team Battles), so we are constantly playing with the ones we are familiar with, that's probably another reason why we dont choose MetaKnight very often.
