no the thing it really lacked was music i loved playing the songs in OoTpop1233I agree, I loved learning and playing all the songs in OoT, Song of Storms, absolutely amazing.
I think people should stop comparing it too OoT, we couldn't have had another ocarina in it; people would then complain that it was too much like OoT.
TP was really good in it's own sense that it's a completely new Zelda game and not compare it with a game thats 8 years old. guranteed next Zelda game that comes out people will compare it too TP.
Urrgghhh. rant over.
Twilight Princess lacked nothing.magrappyit lacked memorable and likable characters and side quests and side stories that you could get involved in. don't be a stupid blind fanboy. b xx
It lacked a reason to have the Slingshot. Sorry, I'm just hopped up on gadgets today for some reason.
Really, I felt a little robbed when the "Twilight Realm" which was supposed to be the opposite of the Light Realm, was one temple and the smallest at that. I was hoping that it would be a little more in depth.
So much more could have been done, like add another Twilight Temple and toss that Water Temple...am I the only one that can't stand the water temples. TP was much better than OoT, but still it was a water temple. Bad karma.

It lacked alot. Yes Ocarina MM and WW were flawed in many ways, I'm not saying they were perfect, but TP just didn't try to correct and expand upon them.
QFT Didn't it seem like yesterday that WindWaker came out and people said "This sucks! It's too kiddy!" "This isn't epic enough!" And now people are comparing that to TP and saying that it's as good as anyother Zelda. The funny thing is TP is the highest rated Zelda game besides OoT but critcally and fanly. Go to Gamerankings if you don't believe me.I think people should stop comparing it too OoT, we couldn't have had another ocarina in it; people would then complain that it was too much like OoT.

I liked TP's characters way more then OoT's or WW's character's.
Wow everyone says a different thing. Bosses, music, I'd say freedom was what bothered me, or the lack thereof. Bosses just flat out sucked, Ocarina's bosses kicked ass and still do, but TP can't even muster a fight to trump any of the WW bosses.Shirley_Temple
What exactly makes the WW bosses better than the TP bosses? Toughness? Use of tools? Time? Originality? I'm curious, but I can't let you have graphics and scale.

Well at least WW's bosses attacked more than once every four minutes (looks sharply at stallord). They were more daunting in terms of scope as well, like when Ganon's Puppet in spider form drops from the ceiling and with 5.1 surround shakes you to your bones, you feel like you just narrowly missed getting killed in a single hit (even though it only takes off a few hearts).
Hell I don't even know what Armorghoma's attack looks like (TOT boss) I think I killed him in under a minute, and he never laid a blow on me.

Cool, I agree with that. Funny, I can't really remember a 'tough' boss in the series. Except in OoT, I tried fighting Shadow Gandondorf without any arrows...that was a bit frustrating. :)Â

harsh....but true. Anyone who disagrees with this needs to see what how much of the world they can explore once they leave Ordon......hint, its just Kakariko.....and ONLY kakariko.

Platinum? I don't think Platinum's first language is english because Dencore's post is a mix of sarcasm and harsh criticism. But Dencore is on the right track, I guess other people have lower standards for a 2006 Zelda title that is the 4th 3d Zelda game in the franchise, because honestly I found NO reedeeming facets of play in TP.

Dude, Plat
Don't take it personal, haters will be haters.  Let it go. You cannot teach the blind to see.Â
The thing it lacked was bosses with with at least SOME difficutly.jonathan_rectoragree with that, the music, the characters, the story, and the fact it had a huge environment and nothing to fill it.

My apologies Den, I was merely using a coin phrase about trying to change someone's opinion, not belittling your perspective.Â
It's fine. I was just making a parody of the average rant about Twilight Princess. I mean it's one thing saying that you don't like that game. But to quote everyone who says it's good and says it's stupid and states a bunch of opinionated reasons why it's worse and treats it like a fact.My apologies Den, I was merely using a coin phrase about trying to change someone's opinion, not belittling your perspective.

[QUOTE="magrappy"]Twilight Princess lacked nothing.frustatedgibbonit lacked memorable and likable characters and side quests and side stories that you could get involved in. don't be a stupid blind fanboy. b xx I remember and liked alot of characters, just because you didnt doesnt mean thats the way it is for everyone. So dont call people stupid, when you sound ever worst than them. Anyway you cant compare Twilight Princess with OoT in the music department, I mean Ocarina of Time come on people the game was based on music. Of course it would have the best music, The bosses were fun to me, OoT bosses were no more difficult to defeat. Do you ever stop to think that the reason you had such an easy time at it is because you played OoT, MM, and WW 100 thousand times. You are quite adept at defeating the type of enemies that are present in Zelda games, and if they had changed everything it would have been like Mario 64-Sunshine nothing but whining and complaining about how they changed a formula that was perfect. You people dont know what you want, you just like to complain it would seem.

You mean Jesus has Boobs/plumage? Seriously though people I could play TP 30 more times and still consider it a piece of trash. And Dencore, I'm surprised if your sarcasm rant didn't at least give a twinge of what I feel when I played the game. I felt like screaming when I realized this game had bosses as crappy as ghoma all throughout its length. I felt like stabbing Aonuma when I entered the Temple of Time and found it to be a fan service piece of trash. I just felt like **** after playing TP and I remember thinking that this game was made to piss off fans of Ocarina, MM and WW because though it looks like a Zelda, it doesn't play sound or act like one.
i fee u on the water temples never liked them.the twillt realm was bs i didnt even like that temple took me 30 min 2nd time. i also think they could have done a better job onthe tenple of time. the music was fenominal and u play all the oot songs trough the sound stones. i need harder bosses im srry but gaanadorph wad easy i beat all his forms in 15mins 2nd time around. whats with the scroll skell he is ur father he says son.It lacked a reason to have the Slingshot. Sorry, I'm just hopped up on gadgets today for some reason.

So..........You liked the transition to linearity (go here, then her then here)Â repetetiveness (kill the bugs, again)Â and poor quality (the music stops if you fight Stallord for too long) of TP?
