What NEW Characters Do You Want In SSB 3DS?

Let's assume Nintendo scrapped a few old characters, and there's room for some new characters. Which ones would you like to see? I'd personally like Paper Mario, Little Mac, Travis Touchdown, Isaac, and, of course, Miis!

Bowser Jr. He should transform into Shadow Mario, Super Mario Sunshine style.

Travis Touchdown, Bomberman, and Mega Man should also come in as 3rd-party characters. Blob from de Blob could also be a fun addition, although I'm not exactly sure what his fighting style would be.

I can't actually think of that many more good Nintendo characters to add... guess Brawl did pretty well in that regard.

I would like to see Rosalina, one or two Castlevania characters (Simon/Soma/Jonathan and Charlotte/Shanoa), Megaman, Issac or Matthew from Golden Sun, and others that I can't remember right now. :P
If I remember correctly, the 3DS version and the WiiU version would be different from each other. So I was thinking that the 3DS version should have stages and characters that focuses on previous handheld games and the WiiU version should focus on the console games, but both versions will share other stages and characters.
For example, the next Mario themed stage for the 3DS version will be based on Super Mario 3DS. The Wii U Mario stage will be based on Galaxy 1 & 2. The Link from OoT3D will be playable on the 3DS version while the Link from Skyward Sword would be playable on the WiiU version.

-Young Link with the 3 mask from Majora's Mask; think PKMN Trainer but with Link transformations.

-Zoroark from Pokemon.

-Elza from The Last Story.

-Prince Fluff from Kirby's Epic Yarn.

-Saki Amamiya or Isa Amamiya from Sin & Punishment.

-Ende from Pandora's Tower.

-Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes.

-Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles.

-Isaac from Golden Sun.

-Ray Mk II from Custom Robo.

I'd love to see Sothe from Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. Mega man would be pretty cool too, and quite a bit more likelyI think.

I dont really see them scrapping any character except one of the pokemon characters and replacing it and sonic.

But I do see them adding new characters.

No new ones. The 3DS won't be able to have as many characters as SSBB and theres none from that list that are less deserving than someone who hasn't been included

Nice thread, glad to see you're not getting beat up in this one. I like your ideas of Paper Mario and the Mii's.

• Travis Touchdown: No More Heroes was a fantastic title, and a humourous one at that. No More Heroes is themature game for Nintendo, and it still somewhat remains to be a classic. Despite having ports on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, Suda51 did say at one point that No More Heroes 3 will "be on the Wii 2," which is the Wii U. Seeing his Beam Katana and his rad finishing moves in Super Smash Bros. 4 (Wii U/3DS) will be a classic.
• Cha-Cha: Anyone who's played Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii knows this lovable guy. He's your amazing offline support, and with his various masks and abilities, he was a fantastic help - so why not put him in the next Super Smash Bros game? His final smash would be an awesome dance that could summon the Lagiacrus to DESTROY EVERYTHING. Oh, God... How rad.
• A better Pokemon Trainer: I'm not saying the original Pokemon Trainer was bad in Brawl, but I felt extremely disappointed in him. Let me explain - when the Pokemon Trainer was first announced, I thought when you changed the colour palette, the Trainers' Pokemon would also change. Unfortunately, that was not the case, thus leaving me disappointed. While I use him for Ivysaur, hopefully in the next game, he gets changed to have the starters from each region.
• Bowser Jr.: This guy has been requested by so many people to be in a Super Smash Bros. game and for good reason - he is awesome. In Super Mario Sunshine, he was like a boss, and he proved himself to be far more evil than Bowser. With his "magic" paintbrush he received for E. Gadd, he became Shadow Mario, his disguise in Super Mario Sunshine until you get ten Shine Sprites (despite he still uses it later in the game). Bowser Jr. in the next Super Smash game? Yes, please.
• Ganondorf with an Original Moveset: Self explanatory.
• Luigi with Abilities from Luigi's Mansion: Again, self-explanatory.
• Zero: He's far more badass than Megaman.

Banjo/Kazooie, knuckles, Tom nook/mr resetti, megaman, Ridley, Reuniclus ZachMasta

Banjo/Kazooie 0% chance.

But i'm sure everyone already knows.

I don't want any characters exclusive to the 3DS version, unless they can be transferred over to the Wii U version.

With that said these are just general character additions, not specific to the 3DS for me:

1. Isaac from Golden Sun (Matthew would be fine as well, but I think Isaac has a better chance)

2. Leaf from Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen (as an alternate costume of Pokemon Trainer)

3. Paper Mario

4. Toad from Super Mario Bros. series

I think you should be able to choose a Mii, and choose his attack style. I would make my Mii have Link's sword, Samus's arm beam, Jigglypuff's counter, and Jigglypuff's final smash.

Also they should keep all the old characters, bring back Mewtwo and Pichu, and add new ones.

Travis Touchdown is something I can't agree more on, best addition to the series that could happen.

Knuckles would be the only Sonic character that would be mildly entertaining as Tails really has no moves to be displayed and characters like Shadow and Silver, are well, yeh, lets forget about those two..

I'd say Micaiah is the most likely newcomer from Fire Emblem, the main character of the newest game. slightly more the Sothe. Though I would prefer Sothe, since he's pretty cool and will be a fast character. Ephraim, I'm not sure how likely he is, I would also prefer the one the other two, but he would still be agood inclusion in my opinion. Especially since there are no Lance wielders in Smash Bros.at all.

Color swapping I do believe. I mean some characters look a bit different, such as pikachu with his goggles, hat and so on. THat would be awesome if they had multiple outfits as well. I loved in Soul Calibur II how Link had many different items to use from all the games, from the megaton hammer, to the rod and so on.

Oh, Dark Samus, if you think about it, her attacks are pretty different from Samus's

Master Chief and Sackboy.

Definitely would love to see Isaac. I remember when I saw his picture on Brawl's dojo site when there were still daily updates before release that I nerdgasmed until I realized he was just a ****ing assist trophy.

If any Fire Emblem character was going to make it in, I would think it would be Hector, or whichever character is the main one in that DS remake that was shown off like 2 years ago and never heard of again. Or they bring back Roy, which would be cool with me too.

I can definitely see Vaati or another Zelda character joining the mix. They already have like 5 Mario characters, so a 4th(5th) Zelda character wouldn't be that much.

It's a sequal to Shadow Dragon. Staring Marth again.

I know they're not 1st party characters, but seeing Phoenix Wright or Rayman would tickle me so.
