What type of game could be next blockbusting hit?

It seems as if there are only a handful of actually great games on the Wii, yet is funny because although I have a 360 and a pretty good PC, I still look for games on the Wii, still I am unsatisfied just because there hasn't been great quality games other than MP3, RE4, and Twilight Princess. I know the Wii has the capabilities to dish out a game that everybody must buy a Wii for, but that game just hasn't come out yet. SMG is coming out soon sure, but what about after that? Would an online shooter game be best? what about an RPG, online of off? And will these games ever be made by developers other than Nintendo?

SSBB is after SMG. I don't think shooters will ever really take off on the wii, but I will give MOHH2 a chance probably. They are too saturated on the 'other' system. But is there any clear cut title to say everyone MUST get a Wii (like a H3 X360 equivalent)? I would probably say if you haven't seen the reason you need to get a wii yet after Feb then I don't think you ever will.raahsnavj

I'm assuming you mean SSBB is the Wii's equivalent of Halo3? That's afair statement, but IMO I can't see Nintendo creating another console for a good few years, so the likes of Mario, Zelda, Metroid may see another Wii outing yet, heck maybe DK will get an adventure.

I'm happy with the Wii regardless of what people say about lack of titles, it's all a load of cheese.
