What was your most favorite Final Fantasy game !??

My favorite Final fantasy game was number 6 out of the twelve

This is my last post of the week also.

Can I get anybody to answer which is their favorite so I can calculate what's more popular? I really want to know that questionbecause it'sreally burning my head!

I've only played IX and X and watched my roommate play through VII for his 6th time last year. Can't say I was that impressed by it and I'm looking forward to playing VIII more then VII. Anyway my favorite is X. I liked the idea of this external uncotrolable menace behind Sin and I just in general found the story line intriguing. Rikku was a little annoying but otherwise I loved the cast, Auron was probably my favorite character, and I liked the Wonder Years esque inner monologue.

It's hard to pick one, but I'd have to say VIII. The opening cinemeatic was my first experience with the series, and I don't think it's nostalgia that makes me say it's still impressive (even to new comers) today.

I almost decided not to respond due to the phrase "most favorite" in the title...

I'd have to say FFX, only because it's the first I played and the monster arena owns. I've never played a Final Fantasy game that I didn't like, but I haven't played FFVIII yet and according to most people I know that have played it, it was more of a story than a game.

ive played all except XI, but my favorite is VI. i cant wait for it to get redone! heres the rest:

FF4, FF9, FF10, FF7, FF12, FF8, FF3, FF5, FF1, FF2 (proper numbered, not including spinoffs)

Final Fantasy VII.

I cant wait for FFIV for DS though. Should be awesome.

I haven't played the bit generation FF series (from FF1 through FF6), but among I have played all the incarnations from FF7 all the way to FXII (with the exception of FFXI online...).

Among those games, I'd place FFVII and FFX easily as the best FFs from the story perspective.

FFXII is hands-down the best FF I have played in a long time in terms of gameplay enjoyment. The real-time battles and the GAMBIT system is by far the best I have seen in any RPG. The story may be a letdown for many FF fans and may appear convoluted, but I find myself enjoying it for its politically charged setting if I stop comparing it to the previous FFs with their romantically involved characters / soul-searching themes. It was somewhat inevitable seeing as it takes place in the universe of the war-torn Ivalice.

I started playing VI in this year and it really got me amazed is easily the best one in 2-D - and those games were really good - so i put XII aside and i can say that VI is the best FF overrall yet but i'ts a close one along with VII .
