What will end up the Wii's best-seller?

Super smashbros brawl, and super mario galaxy will come in 2nd

why are people saying wii play will be 1st! its not even a good game! people only buy it 4 the free remotevista8

But there are so many people buying the Wii Play pack, because of the controller, that the game might win as best seller.

Actually, Smash Bros Melee was the GC's last gen hero. So, I would say that Smash Bros Brawl will sell the most (Wii Sports aside)

They've hyped Brawl so much that I would not be surprised if it was the best-seller. Just look at how many have been sold in Japan in just two weeks.:shock: Wii Play should not even be considered a best seller since it has only been bought for the remote.

Bottom line: Brawl

the gamecube bestsellers were (in order) 1) super smash bros. melee, 2) super mario sunshine, 3) then mario kart doubel dash

so, the wii best selers will most likely be (in order) 1) super smash bros. brawl, 2)super mario galaxy, then 3) mario kart wii

I'm going with Brawl, but it's a tough call at this point.

I'm leaving Wii Play out of it. I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot people wouldn't have gotten that game if it weren't for the controller.

I think that Mario Kart will outsell SSBB simply because of the wheel. It's the perfect appeal to the casual crowd.

No we don't. Aside from Wii Fit, Sports and Play. Kart and Brawl are both fierce competitors. Brawl will be hugely successful, but the inclusion of the wheel might be able to appeal enough to casual gamers to make them go and pick it up.

None of which promoted it like Nintendo already has started doing. Three Wiimote wheels on the box shows they're going to drive that point in.

You saw nothing for Mario Kart because it's not coming out until April. Nintendo will only put their 100% advertising force behind one game at a time and Brawl is being released first.

I guess you have a point, but right now we can only predict how far Nintendo is going to promote the wheel.

It sold more units, period. It never "pulled ahead". Smash Bros. was always the best selling Cube game. Smash launched 2 years before Kart and was always ahead in the sales numbers.

Moral of the story: Don't trust Vgchartz. They are no more (maybe even less) reliable than Wikipedia.
