I would imagine it would look fine. For me, buying the component cables helped so much.

I used to have my Wii hooked up to my computer monitor, but I was never able to get the settings right. It was so blurry, and there was an inch of black on both sides of the screen.

If you can get it to work right, I think it would look the same as it would on a big screen, if not better.

I'll tell you from personal experience. I have it hooked up to my Samsung 2343BWX which is a 23" monitor with a 2048x1152 resolution. I bought a VGA cable for like 40 bucks from some website, obviously some chinese made kind of thing but doesn't matter as it works perfectly. Of course, this does cause major stretching to occur to fit the whole screen, but that isn't a problem. Everything still looks good on it (SMG and SH:SM = ) Hell if you don't like the automatic resizing, you can turn it off but then theres a small screen and lot of black bars. Excellent picture, no complaints what-so-ever. It has alot of preset PQ configs so its easy to find one that suits you (I just turned it custom and turned everything up, it gives the best PQ imo)

It does not have built in speakers though, which isn't a problem for me as I have a 5.1 system anyway. Anyway, unless you're a total videophile, you shouldn't have a problem playing the Wii on a monitor with good picture quality.

If you have to use the pointer on a small screen it can be a bit odd, but otherwise it's fine. If you're worried about the image quality, if anything it'll be better since the pixels will be smaller (at the same resolution).
