The best way to get money for a 3DS if you don't have a job? That's easy: get a job.dzimm
On my way to Tom Thumb then!
If you consider a job working outside of your home/neighborhood, then there's many things you can do to earn a little money here and there. Ask your parents for extra chores (if you can't get a job, I'm assuming you're young enough to live with your parents). They likely won't give you easy tasks, but if you're willing to put in the time and hard work, and make sure to tell them you're willing to work hard for it, then you can earn a decent amount of money. Like job employers, your parents won't pay you unless you accomplish something.
The other way, depending on how your neighborhood is, is asking around the block for various chores. If you know any elderly couples nearby, they will likely need help with a lot of things. This time of year, if you live in a snowy neighborhood, then you can shovel driveways/walkways for money. Anyone who has an unshoveled one is a potential person to make money from. The bigger the job, the more likely someone is willing to pay you for it. Places that get little to no snow will always need their lawn mowed, regardless of the time of year. Those are the two main tasks that people need done in neighborhoods and people are generally willing to pay for.
There's no simple way to make money in this world. If you're willing to work (hard) for it, you can easily make the money needed to purchase a 3DS by March. If you're lucky, you may even have some leftover for something else (like games).
Walk your neighbor's dogs, ask to mow neighbor's lawn for money, etc.hydralisk86
in other words a job. fast food places are always hiring.

TC may not be old enough to have a minimum wage job...But isn't it true that teenagers can have jobs with low pay? i dunno if it depends on where you live.Saving up all the lunch money Iget for school? lol, even though my birthday is in March.

If you are too young to work legally, then work for your neighbors, mowing their lawns, shoveling snow, etc. Or,trade inyour DS (if you have one) on the day you go to buy the 3DS.
Ask yourself, do you really NEED two kidneys? Sell one! ;)

That thought has actually crossed my mind before... lol :D
OP, since you're 17, you're fully capable of finding an actual job. I got my first real job (not counting the paper route I had when I was 14) when I was 16. I worked as a telemarketer. Man... That job was TERRIBLE! It did provide steady income though. I was able to buy my own things and never had to bug my parents for money.
I would definitely recommend putting in some applications at places you can walk to. You'll be able to save up enough money for a 3DS easily.
Seriously lol, people on here these days amaze me with there questions. Hey TC ask for it for your birthday, or money at least to get it...You're 17, and you're asking how to get money for a 3DS? Holy crap...
