How long? Jeez...haven't played the whole way through in years. I know that when I was a kid, I tried to cap all my characters (lvl 99 is the cap, if I'm not mistaken), fight the secret boss (Crulex from a Final Fantasy game...forgot which one), and basically get every secret/cool thing in the game. I believe I spent most of a summer break playing the game.

I think you can probably beat the game fully in around 40 to 60 hours. That's if you spend some time with it. Play it quickly, I guess...30 hours? Maybe? Someone with a good memory wanna back me up on this?

So...

Main quest = 30 hours

Getting all the secrets = 40-60 hours?

From what I can remember, I believe a save file I had that was near the end of the game was somewhere around 54 hours. I think just about everyone was lvl 99, and I remember getting everyone's strongest weapons and things like that. Now that I've played through it so many times and know most of the puzzles in and out, I could probably beat it in around 25 hours. So yeah, until someone beats it at an average pace and proves me wrong, I'm going to say that the game length is in that range.

It's a Super Mario RPG made by Squaresoft...When I was younger, that's all you needed to say. Square has changed.

Anywho, Gameplay, storylines, entertainment value, and replay value are all better than Paper Mario or Mario and Luigi, IMO.

Judging by the SNES standards it has some really impressive graphics. Besides, it has an amazing storyline and out of all Mario RPG games it is the one that is more focused on turn-based battles.
