I can usually always answer these types of questions with one game in mind but this one is too close to call. I have to name down my favorite 3 DS Lite games (in no specific order).
1. Elite Beat Agents: Oh my god, I have not been this addicted to a game in such a long time. I used to plan to spend a few minutes playing this game, but those minutes literally turned into hours. This game combined rythm, music and games into one very amazing package. It was one of my first real DS experiences because it showed me what the touch screen can do. Ever since I've played this game, nothing has been able to touch the way it used the touch screen feature. Nothing will even come close, not even Phantom Hourglass. Phantom Hourglass was predictable but EBA was very innovative (I'm talking about how they utilized the touch screen).
2. Hotel Dusk: Room 215: Once again, I found another game to get addicted to. I would try to play this game a little before I went to sleep but the story just drew me in. I would start playing at 1 AM and end at about 3:30 AM. The story, character development, dialogue etc... it was all top notch for a video game. I absolutly loved this game, it was immersion at its best.
3. The World Ends with You: First of all, I have to give props to this game. I typically hate JRPG's but somehow, someway, this game became one of my favorite games of all time. I've heard the complaints, Neku plays some emo character blah blah blah. No he doesn't.. ok yes he does, at first. But that's what I loved, all the characters were so vibrant and there was someone there for everyone to relate to. The combat was extremly fun and I havn't had this much fun training my guy since Pokemon. The pins added such an extra level of depth to the game; and the clothing and food just went all out. There were so many ways to approach this game. I could write a friggin' thesus about why I loved this game, but I won't. All I have to say is that this kind of storytelling and chcracter interaction does not come often in videogames.
Advance Wars: Dual Strike.
Great use of two screens. Very engaging gameplay with a greatly tuned level of difficulty. Improves upon its predecessors in nearly all the ways it can. Staggering replay value.
There many games that i like on my nintendo ds.Here my top 2:
Pokemon diamond and pearl because i like Pokemon games and it is the latest Pokemon game(that means the better)
Mario and Luigi partners in time because in the game you play with four characters Mario, Luigi, baby Mario, baby Luigi
FFTA2 would be my pick. I have a 100+ hours on that game. Its a ton of fun, but the story sucks.
And probably Pokemon. Can't wait for Platinum.
My old fav. game, Bleach: Blade of Fate, was dethroned by my new favorite.....Bangai-O Spirits. This game is so good that I could watch it being played and still be satisfied. (both games are developed by Treasure)
The tutorial is packed with humor. There is an edit mode that not only lets you edit and create levels, but it will also let you more or less cheat to get through a level(or practice new strategies for getting through). There are regular stages(hard), puzzle stages(harder) and even has an innovative level sharing system that uses the DS microphone and sound. The graphics for a DS game are great. There can literally be hundreds of items/animations on screen at one time and the game runs pretty smooth. This game is a crazy shooter and might not be for everyone due to a bit of difficulty. However, the game offers an endless ammount of gameplay and is accessible to all ages of DS gamers.
