Give it another two years and there will probably be one, that would be my guess nintendo are probably concentrating on their wii at the moment.

I'd say around 4-6 more years until we see a new portable from Nintendo.

5-7 based on thier previous portable refresh cycles. The proposed Wii-DS integration should prolong the life of DS.

so all you have to do is wait a few years until Nintendo announces a new hand held console...once it has been announced, or even if they're just hinting, sell of your DS! wait for the new console and buy it! that way you getthe new consolewhile still making the most out of your DS.

Your all wrong,Nintendo comes out with a new hand held every 2-4 years.Like the first DS came out in 2004,a new one came out in 2006.When the GBA SP came out 3 years later the DS was announced its been like this since they invented gameboys.

i would say 4 years until a new system. however knowing nintendo i would wait another 1 or 2 years after they come out with the new system because they would have revamped the system like ds-ds lite, game boy advance-sp.

I see the DS having a lot more of a lifespan.
