Why do video games compies do thing like his. Reaseing games on other platform at different times. Ok RE,FF, ECT. What ibg methods are use we they do theese things. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT GAME IF IT CAME OUT.
I dont see why people want RE5 to be ported to the wii, Ive played and beat it and its RE4 in HD with crappy controls and outdated gameplay. Just stick to the rail-shooters and remakes I say, RE4 >>>>>>>> RE5 is total garbage. and I hope this rumor is unfounded.
On-rails games don't excite me too much and I would never buy another one, they are boring. I would rather have a brand new RE that is not on-rails. RE5 is goot but it's best to experience it on the PS3 or 360, a port of it would probably leave out some things which means you wouldn't be getting the full experience intended.
i want good resident evil game on the wii but after disappointing story and gameplay in 5 i don't want 5 but if it does happen then to support capcom on the wii i'd buy it
We should petition for a port of the originalDead Space I just played it through to the end on the 360and it is brilliant, the game is best described as RE4 with a Doom 3 mod and the remotes motion and pointerwould be perfect for the game.
Personally, I wouldn't mind if it does. It'll give Wii-only owners a chance to experience the game firsthand to see if they like it. What's wrong with that? It was an extremely average game to me. Played it with a friend in co-op. Some design ideas they had are just mind boggling. Take, for example, the vest. It takes up one of the nine boxes, instead of just being able to put it on. Some could argue that this makes decisions tougher, but when you have no idea what you are up against, it becomes more trial and error than strategy. Versus mode is a joke, made even more laughable that people HAVE to pay for it. But still, I want people to play it, in particular the ones who have played RE4 Wii, and then compare. I think RE4 blows it away, and that's because of Shinji Mikami.
So it may or may not. They may make a exclusive RE game that IS NOT a rail shooter. I hate those games.

Yes. Rail shooters suck. Nothing like castrating much of what makes a video game "fun" right out of a game. Turns a game with a plot, storyline, and actual gameplay variations into just a leash-led button-mashing fest *yawn*.
Unfortunately the Wii has this stereotype that it can't handle such games and so they have to be watered-down into rail shooters in order to work on the Wii. This stereotype is, of course, blatantly wrong and glosses over the perfect fit that the Wii's controls are for such a a game.
