lol same here
from the stats i've seen, the gba is actually still selling quite a bit...especially in united states. and the ds is really hot right now and they are coming out with more and more games. if it ever "dies" it won't be anytime soon. defintiely not 2014 if the gba is still around...vanjamin
Fixed :)
Anyway with the way the DS is currently selling, I wouldn't be surprised if it was another 8 years before a succesor comes out.

I was going to take a picture of my new Sony/Nintendo Co-op handheld...the DSP. I was so excited when I got it! They finally gave gamers what they wanted...2 screens with touch capability and 2 analoge sticks...Nintendo's quality games and Sony's high quality graphics...but they would put both analoges on one side of the system since you need a free hand for the stylus. The damn thing was just too heavy and the hinge crack caused the top half to break off and fall to the floor where it shattered into a million pieces while the bottom half suffered from the red-ring-of-death (aparantly Microsoft had some hand in designing the operating system and cooling fans). So when everything went to hell, I chucked it across the room and decided to post a picture of a bunny with a pancake on it's head for your enjoyment.

that is so HOT!!! cool!!!
at the very least not untill Nintendo makes a new handheld. IMO Nintendo has made the best handheld since the original Gameboy, barring that virtual boy piece of crap thing... anyone remember that? 1IVIpul53
jeez, you just HAD to bring that up.........
that crap hurt my eyes. thankfully i never owned one, but i played it in a toys r' us back in the day.
By "die" I assume that you mean that the product is discontinued and no more games are made for it. By that definition, the GBA is not dead, but the GBC is. My trajectory is 2011, unless Nintendo decides to regress back to the old style of Game Boy (which I doubt). Under that condition, I'd say 2015.
And I like the QS picture. Reminds me of that photo I took of the GBA-SP juxtaposed to make it look like a DS (and I called it Nintendo's DS prototype). Don't ask to see it, because I don't want to bother uploading it onto the Internet.
