It is already released in Japan last month, but the DSi will be released early next year in Europe. In North America, its release date is uncertain because the DS Lite is selling so well here.
I think I got the info from IGN, but I think the DSi is coming on March 2009. Though, nothing is for sure. As malkiko said, the DS Lite is still selling very good. Especially since Christmas nears. So, nothing can be said.
