i had a dream i woke up and checked the VC and DK64 was available i was sad when i wokem up and saw that neither dk64 or dkc were available...screw those other games

You don't understand, I've been waiting for this game to be released ever since I bought the Wii (which was launch day.) And, after I saw the press release of it being released i had gotten totally pumped. I remember fondly the days back when i was a small child playing DKC. And, now I was ready to re live those memories. And, alas I get on the Wii Shop Channel and no Donkey Kong Country. It's like a stupid looking clown slapping you across the face and laughing at you, because you're stupid enough to believe the OFFICIAL NINTENDO PRESS RELEASE... Ok... myabe I'm a tad bit over reacting...

the game is great. Best game I remember playing in my childhood. To me its one of the best ever. Cant wait to play this again (last post) :)

All I know is that DKC is the only series I never liked; it just doesn't seem that good to me :? And don't you think you might be disappointed? I've gone back and played some old games and I've been disappointed.

This game is great. It was great in 1994, and it's been great up to today. And I've been playing at least some form of this game over and over since then so it's not like I don't remember it.

the SNES version wasn't really much of a higher resolution then the Wii version... u are in fantasy land budy. They are about the same

It looks good to me.  Maybe the difference you guys are seeing is because of the TV changes.  I played the original on a 27" tv with the SNES.  Now I'm plaing the same game on a 52" HDTV.  Pixels much bigger now so doesn't look at tight.
