I herd Jeff say That he thought Ocarina Of Time was better than Twilight Princes. This did not sit well with me a thought Twilight was better in lots of ways. Ocarina was great for its time and loved it for years but i enjoyed WindWaker and Twilight more.

Lets see what you think ???

i was never a big fan of ocarina, so tp is the better game in my opinion, but my favorite is a tie between link to the past and wind waker.

Haven't played Ocarina yet, but just recently got the coloctor's edition, so it should be interesting to see how the match up.

Ocarina was a far better game IMO. Sure it looks visually dated, but in terms of mood, storyline, level design, side quests and the dungeons it was far superior to Twilight Princess

I didn't like Twilight Princess much at all. So Ocarina of Time all the way. I've finished it over 10 times, and I could still pick it up tomorrow and finish it all over again.

My vote would have to be a tie. However, my actual favorite Zelda game would have to be A Link To The Past.

Easily Ocarina of Time. I admit that I am not a Zelda fan. It's really not my cup of tea, but Ocarina of Time is a game which I hold in very high regard and have played through multiple times. For a game to be able to drag in somebody who wasn't a fan and grip them that strongly, that's truly a great game. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess kinda pushed me back away to the "I'm not a Zelda fan." me.

ok playing them back to back i would have to say ocarina of time, i got tp a few days after wii launch, and have downloaded orcarina of time on VC and began to play it, while i have not yet complete orcarina of time, i would still say it's a better game. i have never played Orcrina of time before downloading it on VC.

My favourite Zelda games are A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. I loved Twilight Princess too, but OoT gets my vote on this poll.

I liked TP, but where were the f'n sidequests!?! I mean real sidequests, like mask-trading or Biggoron's sword, not just giving people large amounts of money until something happens. TP is a great game, but I don't like the idea that I've done all there is to do in my first run.

Wow, the poll is Almost dead even but i think i have to sat OoT simply because it wasnt Linear and that it really was the first 3-D adventure and definitely the most memorable IMO

i liked twilight better.  more to do, more moves, better animation, better graphics, more weapons and puzzles.  just all around better game.  people will say ocarina because they played it a long time ago when it revolutionized the series, which was great back then and still is, but TP is better as of now.

I can't even count the number of times I played OoT.  That game was, and still is, my all time favorite game IMHO.  TP was good, but it wasn't OoT good.  It's crazy how it's a 3 way tie right now for OoT, TP, and Both.

Nice

Ocarina had bigger badder bosses, TP has a stronger emphasis on story.  One's scripted to be linear, the other isn't.  I go with Ocarina.

I've played and beaten both.  Ocarina Of Time is a true masterpeice.  Twilight Princess is an ok game, but a mere shadow of OOT's glory.  Nintendo should have pushed Zelda farther rather than create a pale copy of OOT.

I personally think that Twilight Princess is a fantastic game....  The Wii remote makes it so unique and alive.... i played Windwaker and Ocarina of Time on the collectors addition and I personally feel that Twilight Princess is better....

I don't even think i can even answer that. Ocarina wasn't even about graphics and the game was so great. Tp very good graphics and i also liked it alot. Its real hard. I did like ocarina's story better but still i think there are both great games. I am looking foward to finishing wind waker and majora's mask.

Can you please explain to me outside of the fact that Zelda benefitted from the jump to 3-D that almost every franchise outside of Sonic enjoyed how OoT was that much different than Alttp? Gorons? Music Playing? The time-warp "gimmick" was about as interesting as the Wolf-"gimmick", but at least the Wolf-"gimmick" was useful while figuring out puzzles and the like. The Time "gimmick" only had real in-game use in the Spirit Temple, and has been argued is simply OoT's version of Alttp's "Dark World". I was actually expecting the Twilight to be as well, but I was pleasantly dissapointed that it was a actually a plot element rather than another "alteration of the same realm".

well...in terms of gameplay I'd say TP. After playing TP...OOT feels kind of clunky.

But in terms of being revolutionary for gaming in general...OOT.

In terms of story....actually..I think that TP edges out OOT slightly here. Why you ask? OOT's story is almost a carbon copy of LTTP's story once you think about it. Well..then again so is TP's..but not to the extreme that OOT borrowed from LTTP.

I just finished Twilight Princess and I don't think it is anywhere near as good as OOT. Actually, if anything, when playing TP I kept thinking that this is just an reworked version with a few gimmicks and character changes to make it seem different. Everything was too familiar. That is sometimes a formula that works well for games that people love. The problem was that the gameplay wasn't any deeper, the story wasn't as good, it wasn't as challenging(no manual for me in either game), and half the time I felt like I was repeating stuff I had already done for no reason other than to make the game longer. TP is a great game when standing alone, but when comparing it to OOT, it is disappointing.

I saw a few people on previous pages saying Wind Waker was better than OoT....you people are on crack. Seriously...I'm guessing you probably got stuck on the Water Temple, got frustrated, and never finished the game...because that's the only way I could see someone thinking WW was better. Any game where you set your character sailing in a certain direction and then go do something else for 5 minutes because you don't want to sit through the boring journey needs to go back to the drawing board, if you ask me. WW = way too easy, TP = still too easy, OoT = perfection!

like alI said before...You OOT fan-boys fail to realize that OOT's story is basically a CARBON COPY of LTTP's story! You get three items, get the master sword, complete a fixed number of dungeons, and then have a tennis match with ganondorf!

IMHO, OoT is the single greatest video of all time.
