Well I haven't played 3 so I won't touch the poll. But IMO 1 and 2 are the same, however 2 isn't harder, or easier, it's both because the difficulty is inconsistent, varying from being laughable to being a little too extreme, whereas MP was about even most of the way through the game.
i'd have to say its either the first or the third... the first isn't as confusing, meaning you won't get lost as often as metroid prime 2 or 3, but in terms of bosses and enemies, that would be metroid prime 3, metroid prime 2, was by far the hardest of the metroid series...

I haven't played number 2 but a comparison from 1 and 3? I'd say 3 is easier but I'm playing it on Hyper mode now and I keep dying :P. Took me about 4 trys to beat the Bryyo boss.
On normal mode MP3. But veteran was maby a little harder than they're hard modes.Hyper mode was really hard I still haven't beaten it on this difficulty. MP2 was a pain in the a$$ because of some stupid boss battles that weren't fun and extremely frustrating.(Booost ball Guardian). Metroid Prime's difficulty was pretty much perfect with the end of the game being very difficult and beggining being very easy. JUst one wall. Omega Pirate. But that was pretty much the last boss battle so its justified.
metroid prime 3..the puzzles are a bit easier though..only in some parts...2 was far by the hardest for me. i still haven't beaten that game....i kinda gave up on it
Wow MP3 really is that much easier. Then my cousin who was worry about this game being to hard, wont have to worry, because I am getting it for him for his birthday.
