that totally came from left field...mc? Birdo would be a sweet addition. I knew there was a shyguy in one of them. Suprisingly DS Kart was pretty sweet. I liked the Mission Mode.

i agree there should be nothing but mario characters in the game... but i can'trecall everplaying a mario game that had diddy kong in it... or for that matter, a "mario" game that had donkey kong in it... remember, NES game with mario and kong in it is a donkey kong game... not mario. Correct me if i am wrong somewhere. True there is an absence of DK characters from actual Mario games...except the obvious Mario Party and sports games like Golf, etc. But corect me if I'm wrong...wasn't DK in Super Mario ROG for SNES? And no, I agree...I don't think I've ever seen Mario in a DK game except the very original Donkey Kong games...that was supposed to be Mario, right?
Well If it was nintendo kart I would like to see Fox MCcloud...with a arwing shape kart and his special could be smart bomb....and the kart should be light
they should add all the characters from super smash bros brawl into mario kart and all the items too. and give them all character style matching karts and stuff.

Neat, Now, I remember reading about that a while ago.
With Mario Kart, I just want to stick with Mario characters. I'm still waiting for Magikoopa (I guess that I have been waiting since the early images of Mario Kart 64!). Would be pretty cool to see some of the Koopa Kids (Koopalings)as racers too... Who knows? Maybe their appearance in the New Super Mario Bros. Wii will give them a boost into a few other Mario spinoffs?
I don't think they will ever make a let's say Nintedo Kart, because it would strongly impact the Mario Kart sales. However, they have made several spins off for other Nintendo franchises..Diddy's Kong Racing, Kirby Air Ride, etc.each acculating their own level of success. I would really prefer to see a conglomeration of all the major titles instead of stand alones, but Mario Kart still rules even if they won't add Pokemon, Kirby or the like.
I would like to see the return of Petey Piranha but if I had to add some, Well I might consider charaters from Super Mario Bros 2, like the mouse mini boss. Maybe even throw in a shyguy and here is a great idea, throw in Smithy from Mario RPG. Geno and Mallow too. They really have some cool options to add still!

Why is Diddy in Mario Kart if it's only Mario game characters? Diddy was never in a Mario game.
My assumption is because they knew I would riot if my favorite character wasn't in the game.. but still, I am confused by his inclusion.

I want one of those fat dudes from Super Mario Sunshine in a Mario Kart. I think they are called Pintas but I'm not sure. They were in Mario Superstar Baseball so why not.
