Which one would you like to play the most?

How do you think they'll make the transition to Wii (motion control implementation and such)?

I know some are already in develpoment but we have next to zero info on them and their gameplay (kirby is the exception maybe) so we can still dream at what they'll be like :)

Wow what if all of them were to show up? Especially Earthbound or some other Mother game!

out that list in particular, F-Zero by far.

Nintendo can take all the time they need for Zelda, it needs to be epic

as awesome as starfox is... i miss the absurd speed of F-zero, since i didnt own GX (could only rent it). *votes*

F-Zero. And bring back the metal, Nintendo!

OniStrat
and dont forget to get rid of the theme song for the casino-themed races... I HATE IT. maybe because i spent 3 hours on the same mission that had it as a BGM, but it's really annoying and should never be listened by anyone.

WHAT'S THE FUN OF HAVING A WII IF YOU DONT WANT MOTION CONTROLS?!?!?!?!? oops... caps-lock turned off now :P anyway, seriously, why did you get a wii if you dislike the motion so much? the fun of playing in the wii is being able to use motion controls. i finally have a decent steering wheel for mario kart, for example, and it feels much better than any not-as-fun gamecube controller. "but you cant go competitive with those" to the hell with it, i wanna have fun.

Why not? Just because Mario Kart Wii's steering was crap with the Wii Wheel, dosen't mean F-Zero Wii's will. But again, I did play MKWii with the Gamecube controller, so throwing that in would be nice too.

Yeah, kirby is an amazing platformer with the whole copying mechanic.

I know they had a solid kirby planned for the GC but it was obviously cancelled:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILXkySK95po

I hear their porting it to the wii and upgrading it, however as far as I know its nothing official!

I just can't imagine them letting a basically finished game like this going to waste :?

Would've voted for Zelda if a new one wasn't already confirmed, and there wasn't already a solid port of it from the series on the Wii.

But I voted for Earthbound. I'd like to see it make a reappearance in the same style it used to be on the DS, then I'd like to see a 3-D Action-RPG (perhaps open world) take on it on the Wii, as I've said before. Basically take the same characters as in SSBB, and then make all the moves found in the TB games in a way like they made in SSBB. I think the idea has potential to make a great game.

I've actually said they same thing to before

A SSB style rpg would be awesome and makes perfect sense when you think about itand howwidely appealling it would be!

You just need to get a REALLY good team of game designers to bring in for a project like that and give them years and years to work on it!

That's not what I'm saying, I want an open world-action RPG Earthbound. SSBB should stay right where it is, as a fighting game. An RPG with all Nintendo characters could have potential, but most likely it would just feel cluttered and everything would seem out of place.

Hexagon_777

lol, I know what you mean, people are always like "mario, zelda, mario, zelda" and while I can see the whole "variety" thing applying to mario on the wii (as hes looking at 3 solid platformers for the system) the truth is Zelda hasn't even has ONE dedicated game for the system yet :| thats the reason why I felt it needed to be on the list.

It was either that or I guess a DK platformer?

Nintendo needs to expand and push out more quality games from different franchises in my opinion. Their current focus seems to be too much on Mario, The Legend of Zelda and Metroid. They have numerous franchises to work with, though. Seeing at least one quality title from each franchise per generation would surely bring the variety that a gamer desires. We need Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Earthbound, F-Zero, Kirby, Pikmin, and Kid Icarus games.

Ofcourse I want Zelda, but that's already confirmed, opposed to the rest of the options.

My 3 all time favourite Nintendo franchises are

1) Pikmin

2) Mother

3) Punch-Out!!

so for Classic franchises it's a new Mother game, but I would prefer it in the charmingly simple 2D it has always been in.

I mean, think about it. If made, Star Fox Wii would have SOO much potential. I would pick it up on release day.

Yeah but that isn't a "WII" Zelda, itsmore ofa GC game that was ported with added wii support much like the prime trilogy.

Kid Icarus would have been another good option but imo its a reeeeeeal long shot!

I mean, Kid Icarus is a great game but it has yet to make the 2-d to 3-d jump that many other Ninty franchises have! With that being said its really hard to even remotly picture what its gameplay would be like after that transition! Nolt to mention alot of time and effort would need to go into the project if their gonna get it right, just like mario 64 and zelda oot!

hopefully they take a slightly darker tone with it. but i'll probably end up getting it regardless. long as it looks decent. this of course is assuming it is actually in production still.

I've been wanting a classic 3-D pokemon game since the N64 days!

Don't get me wrong, stadium was awesome and is still my all time favorite 3-d pokemon!

And no I didn't think the "colleseum" games did a very good job at this at all!

Keepit simple if your gonna do a PKMN on the Wii and use the same fomula as the handhelds and if not then just make Stadium 3!

That would be awesome!

Why is Zelda on there? There is one in development and a port of Twilight Princess already on the Wii.

But for me it is a tie between F-Zero and Star Fox.

These are classic franchises that you would like to see Wii versions of, like you said TP is a GC game not a Wii game so it dosent count.

As for the one in development, we know next to nothing about it and its gameplay so its fair to still guess as to whatZelda would be like on the Wii as it isnt now and wont be for a while!

I want Kid Icarus to return badly, but Kirby and a true Donkey Kong would also be great.
