I have never played any of them. I just got my Wii Tuesday and have already D/L Mario for the NES, SNES, and N64. I am getting another Wii from a friend with Paper Mario and the new Zelda for $250, and wanted to get into the game and wanted to see which is best to D/L

You should download both A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time.

I concur, though you should also consider the first Legend of Zelda for NES. Overall, I think all of them are great (with the exception of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, which was an unfortunate departure.)

Ocarina of Time is easily the best. After that you should try the original, because its still an awesome game after all these years.

Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past  are two of the best and they are great to play. I would say the 2 best Zelda games in the series.

Just get all of them. They're all good in their own respects. You probably will eventually anyway =P

If you're only getting one, get A Link to the Past; it's aged better than OoT.  But, I think for roughly the same price as OoT you could pick up Wind Waker which is the best Zelda.

The original NES first quest can easily be completed in 4-5 hours.  The second quest can take longer just because it's a little harder.
