Make sure to call ahead before you go out to a store.

I got mine at Best Buy. Pretty sure this is a game I will play through twice. The Best Buy only had 8 left, I hope that's good?

That sucks, all the stores I called had it besides Wal Mart they aparently have not gotten the game in yet. But side the fact I havent had the ambition to go buy the game quite yet.

I got it today on an impulse buy, the fighting is cool, everything else feels like an afterthought. I admit I'd rather have it be linear than this garbage free-roam aspect.

EVERYTHING IS THE BEST STUFF EVER EXCEPT driving. driving SUcks my ***! But still like in Mass Effect, that vehicle sucks but i still dont think it ruins the game because its story and rpg elements are pretty sweet. In NMH the driving sequences are only used to get from point A to point B and thats it. so whatever. its annoying but it doesn't ruin the game!

I agree, the driving got a alot more fun once I learned drifting. I also get a kick out of crashing into walls and watching travis fly off the bike.

You can do it for the get go. Just hold A (accelerate) then hit the brakes while still holding A. with both buttons pressed twist the remote like a key left or right to drift/make hard turns. I think you can also just have the remote held to either side and then just hit the brakes, as long as you hold A and B.

Sure, if he's exposed to constant cursing, violence and sexual content. Then this shouldn't be that big a deal. Otherwise, I would say no.

I got it. Hard to play with a sprained arm, though.

The game's "Vital Stats" say that 95 people are "currently playing" No More Heroes.

After playing for an hour, I now have a craving for blueberry cheese brownies.

I can honestly say it's the most original game I've played in a long time.

It sounds like the game was a hit here on the forums. I must say that I am pleased!

Suda 51 said that he was tempted to make it on the 360, but felt like it could be executed better on the Wii. It would be a shame if he payed a price for his decision.

Absolutely... it's fun, over-the-top action with style... there's nothing quite like it around.

Why does Canada have to wait until Feburary 1st? I can kind of understand the wait for other countries, but we're on the same bloody continent! The release dates are almost always the same (Rock Band/NMH excluded), so I don't really understand why.

Bought it last night and was up until midnight playing. Graphics could be better, but the game is still awesome. I'm a huge fan of GTA and "Heroes" has that same feel to it. Only complaint that I have is that it's too easy to get the motorcycle stuck. It's kind of a pain to have to run three or four blocks away from where it got stuck, call it to you and then backtrack to where you wanted to go in the first place. Just have to be very careful about where you're driving. Still an awesome game and so glad I bought it!

I got it yesterday afternoon. Reserved copy that wasn't picked up. Got the last one in the store. I also got one of the display case copies of endless ocean.

I enjoyed both. Didn't get to get into either that much though. First impressions of NMH is that it's fun. The fighting is far enough from a beat'em up to add some nice depth, but not too complicated. It also doesn't suffer from the same carpel tunnel situations that games like M:UA and Prince of Persia seem to be known (and greatly criticized and used as a benchmark for future action games) for.

The bike handling is a bit rough, but I wasn't aware of the drfit turn (flipped through the manual, apparently I missed it). Hopefully that will alleviate the issue.

The city interaction is minimal which is a bit of a bummer, but the side jobs add a decent break and aren't stuck with the GTA style side missions (drive here...drive here.....drive here....drive here...kill this guy...drive here) which is to be applauded.

The game has a lot of zaniness for sure and is way over the top. To be honest, my fiancee and her mom were in the other room and I was a bit uncomfortable with how they might react to the content. The little videogame parts are kind of endearing, but the constant stream of swearing and the huge amounts of beautifully stylized blood spurts were a bit much. The lewdness of Travis was also bit over the top.

I don't think it met my expectations, but I am excited to get more into it and will enjoy playing it. If nothing else, it should keep the horny, bloodthirsty youngins happy and will drum up more media for the Wii about it's content being unsuitable for children. That does some decent thigns for their rep.
