[QUOTE="Darthmatt"]Because I played FPS online that were 100x more evolved than MOHH2, on PC 7 years ago. The controls are good, and its a nice start for wii, but the online is like they took a huge step in FPS gameplay. The single player is generic too.Cyber-
ya but being that devs are generally so lazy this game is really well done. There is literally no comparison with the PSP version.
I ment to say they took a huge step backwards in online gameplay. Just because its the only FPS online for wii shouldnt excuse the obvious lack of effort to add modern gaming implements like a freaking jump button. Last time I checked this game wasnt a tactical shooter. Its all about the action. Assult mode would have made online way better but thats asking a lot from EA.I don't have it and don't plan on trying it for a while because I still have Halo 3 to play through, Bioshock to play through, Mario Galaxy to beat, I just got Oblivion game of the year edition for my birthday...I still plan on getting Nights: Journey into Dreams and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicals...
So honestly considering I actually have very little time to play any games as it is, I don't see the opportunity to be playing MOH any time soon.

True, but being used to having a jump in FPS for so long not having it is like buying a new car without power windows and locks. Also, this is an action oriented game. I could understand if it were ghost recon, but its not. It just bugs me about this game. Its 2007, you would think jump would be a standard element in a game like this. Its not like it would mess up the single player or multiplayer experience. It makes it less fun IMO.[QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="Darthmatt"][QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="Darthmatt"]Because I played FPS online that were 100x more evolved than MOHH2, on PC 7 years ago. If this was a sci fi shooter which is more fast paced then I would understand but this game you can start killing people pretty fast.

Yeah I understand that. But from a player point of view, I just wanted them to push it a little further. I think it would have just made the game more fun and dynamic with jumping. I feel like i'm just driving a meat tank instead of a combat ready GI. I guess my problem with this game is I will always compare the online to Return to Castle Wolfenstein. That was the best WW2 FPS online experience I've ever had, and MOHH2 doesnt even come close in so many ways.[QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="Darthmatt"][QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="Darthmatt"][QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="Darthmatt"]Because I played FPS online that were 100x more evolved than MOHH2, on PC 7 years ago. And if it does well we will see more FPS on Wii that will push the envelop in every front like graphics, full multiplayer, controls as good as MOH2, and an epic story. i really hope the dev team that made the wii version is going to make another FPS for Wii. They lacked the right material but they had the right attitude.

Yeah I hope youre right. I just seems like developers use to put more effort into the the online part of games. RTCW is a great example of how ID was able to develope a solid single player and a solid multiplayer (on PC).[QUOTE="bob_newman"][QUOTE="fraz1776"][QUOTE="KungfuKitten"]I really love killing humans, but it's not released yet.
I'm also waiting for RE:UC/Zapper, Zack and Wiki, No more heroes and BWii.
So whichever comes first i guess, which looks to be the zapper (7th of december).

lol twisted much???
I think he was trying to offend me. Whatever, he can do what he wants. But it's because of statements like his that non-gamers think we're all mindless, twisted nerds who have some sort of social problem. Oh well.
I never said that I think you're a "mindless, twisted nerd", I was saying that it's because of statements like your that make non-gamers think we're mindless, twisted nerds. I'm including myself in this statement, as well as all gamers. I don't know about you, but I don't exactly like it when I'm considered to be mindless and twisted for playing videogames. I'm sure a lot of people would agree.
Again, my statement was nothing against you.
I don't have it because I dont have the money as of yet, but I am wanting to try it. I am currently playing Mass Effect on my 360 and CoD 4 on my PC but I have a Wii at my girlfriend's house and I need a game to play, got bored with SMG at about 60-something stars and now I sit and watch her play Trauma Center, but reading up on the first Wii online shooter with better controls than MP3, which is one of my fav games hands down partly because of its controls, is definitely an eye opener.
How many people play online? is this the kind of game that in a month, nobody will be online anymore? And how is the online?
Thanks

ya but being that devs are generally so lazy this game is really well done. There is literally no comparison with the PSP version.
Actually, it is very similar to the PSP version except for the controls(Haven't played MOH:H 2 on psp, but I've played the first one and this version is just like it butwith better graphics and an arcade mode).
I don't really like shooting other humans in the face, especially if these are based on actual events. And don't say "it's just a video game" because it's not. And as much as I am against war, I have respect for the people who were forced to fight in WWII, and I find it insulting when people reenact these events so mindlessly.
That's a downer, I know, but you asked why I don't have the game yet, so there you go.
bob_newman
someone who agrees with me!
I'd play quake or unreal though because they're completely sci-fi...

That's not to say the psp version is bad. It's actually just as addicting as the wii version, but the wii version has it beat on the controls.

most of my friends and myself could not play it after using the Wii version. Its slow and clunky.
