Who here is waiting for Resident Evil: UM Review!?

There's gotta be a review today or tomorrow since the game arrives this Wednesday! I want to know how good it fairs so that I can proceed to buy the Wii zapper.

Gamespot reviews 5 games a day at best, Monday-Friday. This site will be the LAST place to review the game. Look elseware if you want to know if you should buy it or not.

This review will be out at the end of the week at the earliest... and definately don't expect a AAA and even an AA score is pushing it. *puts away crystal ball*

I was more or less meaning games not getting reviewed how a lot of people feel that they should.

well there are flaws thats undeniable. The cross hair does not change for diffferent guns, i dont think they use the wiimote speaker, the aiming is almost too fast and laggy and not fluid but it stilll is pretty precise, graphics are pretty nice better looking than most games last gen but they are inconsistent for each level because there were different teams revamping each level which just sucks, they left out RE2 and Code Veronica X, and a couple more.

But I have seen direct ports with much more at fault that will most definitely get a higher score. Hell I wouldnt be surprised if they gave it a 6.5 at gs.

True that. I guess they didnt wanna seem TOO obvious with MG since there is no question the game is truly awesome & one of the best games of our time. If they would have given it anything around or below a 9.0, they would have lost what little credibility they currently have. At least for Wii gamers.

Yes, exactly like those 3 games. What, did you think they were perfect, and deserving of 10's? BWii is more of a niche title, so you can't expect it to have the broad appeal of a Mario game. You either love that type of game, or have no interest in it at all. The other 2 that you mentioned received very good scores, so I'm not sure what your issue is with them. Again, the bottom line is, if you like a game, who cares what GS or another review says? Get over it please, and let's enjoy the games instead of worrying about someone else not enjoying them!

I dont think every review is wrong. I actually agree with their FE review which happens to be a 6.0. Im not a fanboy annd I did not see it necessary to give you much of intelligent response because what you said did not warrent it.

They arent that strict when they are giving heavenly sword 8.0 and PD0 an AAA

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is a great game! I just got it today at GameStop around noon.

I really wished IGN gave it a higher rating, because most of the "cons" they mentioned don't apply at all. The IR is a lot smoother than they give it credit for, and the graphics are really nice. It's one of those arcade-style pick-up-and-play games that anyone can enjoy, which enhances its replayability especially with two players. I would give this game an 8.5.

It's a shame that a lot of great games get rated low. GameSpot will probably rate it lower than IGN's 7.9.
