I like this game much more than LoZOoT. Its much harder, and more time consuming. I got stuck in a room in Gannon's Castle for 2 hours, until i figured out that there was a switch in the fire. Who puts a switch in the fire. Anyway,if you played this game what did u think about it? Did you finish it???

I liked it, although some of the hidden triggers in the later stages are a little too obscure without any hint for my likes.

There's a difference between thinking, and then just noticing a tiny little shimmer of one of those crystal switches hidden unconveniantly behind a masked texture, as to which even Navi doesn't give it any thought.

I have the GameCube disc. It's pretty cool. I'm sure Nintendo will release it on the virtual console at 1 time.

I played it and beat it. the water temple was actually easier imo. Overall though the game was much more difficult, as far as solving the puzzles.

I didn't like it for the reasons stated above ; The easier water temple and the obscure triggers later in the game

The water temple was easier, but I dont think they could have made it harder than in originally was. However I do agree that it wasnt necessarily more difficult hiding things does not require thought, it just was tedious. However I was unable to finish it as I ran into a glitch in the Spirit Temple, which effectively required me to start over.

I did, and I found it very clever. Even though some of the puzzles had strange triggers, I liked the cleverness behind them. Although, it did make the Water Temple easier.

Same here! i played it for like 3 days straight until i used a key in the wrong door which then required me to restart the game from the beginning. it wasnt THAT hard for me, and i do agree that the water temple was easier, but overall i think it was great even though the original is still more fun (not that master quest wasnt lol)

Yea the water temple was eaiser, that pissed me off. You probably didnt get stuck in the Spirit Temple because i had the same problem, but i got around it.

Ive used the key wrong key in the water temple so many times, but on the original game. After you beat the water temple in master quest it gets much harder.

I bought Master Quest in the summer and it was awesome. Dungeons and puzzles were completely different!

Like other people were saying I found the water temple to be alot easier and something that I found weird was that I had an extra key after completing the dungeon. I had opened all the doors and chests so I thought that was alittle weird.

The Forest Temple really confused me. It took me forever to find that last key. I had already gotten the iron boots and saw that the last chest was in the tunnel between the two wells. I finally found the switch after going around the temple like 10 times.

The dungeon inside the Zora Whale thing was pretty cool aswell. Having cows as switches and whatnot! Craziness! The Fire temple was sweet aswell.

All in all it's probably the best way to re-experience Ocarina of Time with the added difficulty of the altered dungeons.

i found it harder puzzle wise but the bosses were so easy but that was because the last time i beat them i was 7 and master quest i did when i was 16 so yeah it was very good my only complain is that they should have made the bosses a little more difficult maybe like in how long it takes to kill them

oh well twilight princess master quest anyone?

brilliant, would have been perfect if they released it instead of orcarina, orcarina was brilliant, but master quest didn't even think like zelda
most zelda puzzels i snag onto automatically, dunno why, cos i've seen people stuck on some for hours but this one i didn;'t... it was awesome, plus more lizard men and skeltons (best enemies by far)

that was only parts of bigger puzzles, it had all of the other puzzels in tact, and a few ones added on too.

won't happen, master quest was actually the original zelda OoT, but was deemed too diffecult for the general population
twilight princess had no such problem, sadly it wasn't deemed too easy for the general population

I would love to see on the wii but I highly doubt it. The water temple was actually kinda easy. Does anyone know how to get in the room above the maze of rolling boulders? Navi said to play some sort of song but never figured out what I was supposed to do. I hate the temple of fire because of that.
