Castlevania DS 3 needs to bring back the four best characters in the Castlevania universe...coincidently, they are the cast of the REAL Castlevania 3 on the NES. Now would be a better time than any to do that.
A Belmont was the main star in Harmony of Dissonance (Juste) as far as 2D games though, otherwise it was Leon in Lament of Innocence.
Since it's Order of Ecclasia (which is based on the Koine Greek word for Church), I wouldn't be surprised if the heroine has some kind of connection to the Belnades family.
Soma lame? What? Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow are the best Castlevania games there are, because of Soma and his Soul Catch (or whatever it's called) ability.
Whoa...I had no idea there was even going to be a Castlevania 3 for the DS! This is pretty awesome news...and another game to add to my wanted list. I voted for Soma, just because I really liked Dawn of Sorrow. That said, I don't have much experience with the Castlevania series outside of the DS, so my opinion is rather...weak.

Even thus on those screens looks like you could play with her, she may be part of a "duo"like in PoR. This is just a theory bc of the translation of the text below the female character, whom seems to be talking with a male one.

I would have liked Alucard to be the guy for Order of Ecclesia. Besides, I believe he lacked a proper conclusion on Symphony of the Night, you know, with Maria all trailing along.
Of course, even if they put some newbie chump on it, I'd buy it anyway. As long as I can smack otherworldly baddies, or something.
Alucard was a little funky though in his latest traipse at Dawn of Sorrow. He moves pretty well (compared to Julius) but I wish he'd have brought his Crissaegrim instead. :D
