A Belmont was the main star in Harmony of Dissonance (Juste) as far as 2D games though, otherwise it was Leon in Lament of Innocence.
Since it's Order of Ecclasia (which is based on the Koine Greek word for Church), I wouldn't be surprised if the heroine has some kind of connection to the Belnades family.
I want to play as Alucard just one more time. SotN my very Favorite Castlevania, followed by Circle of the Moon.rembladeWell, he WAS playable in Dawn of Sorrow...

Well smack me with a fish and call me Susan. I guess I'll have to finish that game. I got it when I first got my DS so I was on a DS game buying spree and it got lost in the new game shuffle. Thanks for the heads up.
In Dawn of Sorrow you could play as Alucard, and it was pretty satisfying.
Hey, you could play as Julius belmont too, so what are you saying? There was a belmont in it.
I'd like a sequel to portrait of Ruin. That game took away all the swords of DoS and brought back THE WHIP, the ultimate killing weapon.
Aren't there screens that show a female character? I remember seeing them. Ill try to find them.DJSAV_101
I remove the link, but..
there is not evidence that she would be teh main character (it will be great,..)
Even thus on those screens looks like you could play with her, she may be part of a "duo"like in PoR. This is just a theory bc of the translation of the text below the female character, whom seems to be talking with a male one.
but yea... you are right is possible, just wanted to clear that :)
I would have liked Alucard to be the guy for Order of Ecclesia. Besides, I believe he lacked a proper conclusion on Symphony of the Night, you know, with Maria all trailing along.
Of course, even if they put some newbie chump on it, I'd buy it anyway. As long as I can smack otherworldly baddies, or something.
Alucard was a little funky though in his latest traipse at Dawn of Sorrow. He moves pretty well (compared to Julius) but I wish he'd have brought his Crissaegrim instead. :D
