I've been a Zelda fan for a long time. I've played and beaten all of them, except the second one (I just can't get into that one enough!) I played TP around its release, and when I beat it, I thought it was a great, great game....just not Zelda great. I guess it just doesn't spark for me. People say it's better than OoT, but I disagree strongly. Who else was disappointed in TP. If you weren't, go ahead, share your thoughts.Maluigi
I liked it but i felt it didn't live up to its hype.

Twilight Princess was the best Zelda ever made I thought.

I hope the next Zelda pisses off as many people as possible. Zelda TP was a love-letter to the fans- it was a game that actually included what the FANS wanted. Nintendo gave the fans pretty much what they asked for. Nintendo succeeded greatly, but it was this that caused fans to nit-pick every bloody thing 'wrong' about the game. "Where's teh Zeldaaaa? Why is this boss tooo easy? i want my sidequests lol" I understand those complaints, and I understand Zelda TP is by no means perfect, but neither was Zelda Oot.

I thought Zelda TP was miles and bounds ahead of Oot. I thought Oot is outdated crap compared to TP. The bosses were too easy, and the story was a git weaksauce, but the rest of the game was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

In order for any other Zelda game to be recieved as highly as Oot, Nintendo needs to give the finger to every single Zelda fan and do its own thing. Bonus points to something the fans will hate at glance. Therefore, when it turns out to be fantastic, it will suprise, it will disrupt, and it will be a breath of fresh air. It will rock.

Linkset in the future, where his sister happens to be Zelda but looks nothing like her, and Ganondorf is a miniscule evil who is struggling to keep his reputation. A new evil in place, Ganondorf is playable, and you get to weild new power-ups. Link becomes a cyborg during half the game, Ganondorf ends up falling in love with Zelda, and the new evil happens to be Tingle. Perfect. Absolutely Perfect!

Not disappointed at all, this was the first 3D Zelda game I've ever finished and I loved it. I should really get OoT one of these days.....

It was definitely fun while it lasted, but it had nothing to offer after you completed the game. What side quests there were, were pretty lame. The main storyline was exceptional though. With that said, the experience was alot better just because it was the first game I got with the new system, so I was pretty stoked about that.
