No, not at all.
I don't even know when I will be able to buy MKWii. I'm getting GTA 4 at the end of the month and then after I graduate I'm gonna be buying a PS3 and MGS4, plus Uncharted and other good PS3 games. So, I have no idea when I will possibly have enough money to even give MKWii a thought... Which is sad, cause the Wii Wheel looks really spiffy.
im not that hyped, they havent added much from MKDS, the maps dont look all that good and the motion controlls have been said to be terrible.
I will be getting it nonetheless though
Well i've got it here in the UK and have to say it's amazing, it's better than the DS version IMO and i am a hardcore fan of the DS version, there's so much to do and unlock, the online mode works flawlessly including a splitscreen 2 player online mode and you can race up to 12 people.
I don't know how nintendo did it, but the controls are so finely tuned, if you go back to using a normal game controller it just doesn't feel right at all, this will be a classic game for a long time to come.
The only bad point's to the game so far is that personally some of the weapons aren't as finely tuned as i would of expected such as most of the speed boost weap's are more of a hinderance in some cases, like the gold mushroom and star and need to be used with caution if the track is tight.
I'm going to get it this Fall. I'll probably play on Okami, SSBB, Ocarina of Time (2nd walkthrough to beat the game at 100% (all heart pieces and Gold Skulltulas) since 2000), Wiiware and VC games through Summer and I'll work this summer.
Mario Kart this Fall for me.

well that's common knowledge. If you have a golden mushroom on rainbow road, you don't use it on a tight turn... you wait till a straightaway. This isnt a bad point to the game. The game doesnt make you use the item at a certain time. you use it whenever you want and you steer the kart
I'm almost as hyped about this game as I am for GTAIV. I'll be picking up both games at the same time aswell.Bigboi500
Ditto! I wasn't pumped for Mario Kart Wii at first, but then I started playing Mario Kart on the DS again, and realized just how much fun the franchise is. I can't wait to get my hands on Mario Kart Wii. :)
I'm, since we are getting a decent online system, many character and vehicles.
MK DS was awesome, but MK Wii will be better :D
