Whose getting Manhunt?

Getting it right away it wasn't even on my radar just for it being PS2 left over , but thanks to all the publicity and Jack Thompson  its first on my list

im strongly considering it. matt casamencina keeps saying its a really good game in the wiik in review podcasts so i may have to check it out. i am definetly renting it though.bofe1234

Hell, I'm preorderin that bad boy!  I love violent games, but I love Nintendo ... so I don't get them a lot. :-(  MKA and Manhunt 2 are on the top of my list!

Some sickos who enjoy excessive violence. I could never even consider buying a game as sick as Manhunt. IMO people who enjoy killing people in games should consider getting some help. The whole idea in Manhunt is twisted, in a bad way.

EDIT: Why do Americans (are the developers American?) always have to go overboard with violence. Is it because violence and sex are such taboos in your land of freedom?

yes the dev's are americans (Rockstar = all american company) 

i chose "going to get as soon as it releases" ,but thats not true, ill wait for the price to go down bc i have no money ever. you didnt have a choice for that tho. tsk tsk

Dude have you read any of the news about the game? I'm guessing not go to IGN and check it out and you will see its not just a cash in port. I will be getting this game I dont undertstand why some people are disgusted by this game. I mean yea its violent, but so are alot of games out there like god of war. As long as they keep out killing babies i'm good.

The violence got me interested. I'm just not too fond of PS2 graphics on my Wii, but if the news you're talking about, that I've not read, says that the game will have the graphics a Wii game deserves, I might get it if it's going to be a good game.

The Wii version of Manhunt 2 looks noticeably better than the PS2 version. Rockstar Toronto has used the extra horsepower that Nintendo's console delivers to "up the gore." This is done in a few key ways. For starters, character models in the Wii version will display realistic blood splatters, bruising, gunshot wounds, gashes, and head wounds. In addition, blood will actually spray the screen during combat and executions in the Wii iteration, just as it will accumulate on Danny as he explores the asylum. Considering how important the gore factor is to Manhunt 2, these are all welcomed additions. The title meanwhile looks very sharp on Wii, moves at a steady 30 frames per second, and runs in both 480p and 16:9 widescreen modes.
