Why do mods lock every thread where people complain about their Wii experience?

I can't think of any other board that locks so many topics.  

Either this site has the most powercrazy mods of any message board on the internet, or they seriously underestimate their users.

Your message board sucks, and your censorship is unparalleled.Why would I stick around a site that cites me for "Creating a topic solely to upset readers" when that topic was just about me being disappointed that my Wii had no games.Your mods need to grow up, and if something like that REALLY DID upset your readers, then they do as well.Don't get upset over someone's opinions about videogames on the internet.There are many other great sites out there, Kotaku, 1up, etc, none of them lock topics like this one.

It's because complaining about the Wii is annoying for people who don't want to listen to people ramble on about random garbage. Those complaining threads belong in peoples blogs or maybe in system wars.

These aren't topics like ZOMG TEH WII SUXORZ X360 ARE TEH PWNZORZ, some are well thought out concerns for the system and their wallet.

Wii arguments aside, do you know of any site that locks or bans as often as this one?  Name one.

IGN acts like that as well. They lock threads like you made on their boards. I know I'm also on IGN forums.

I personally like a lot of the threads that get locked. It makes things interesting around here. It seems like everytime I write a killer reply telling the TC off, the thread gets locked. It's actually pretty annoying.

Of course now this thread will get locked.
