It would be kool to use the Wiimote as a lightsaber but what could the storyline be in the game?I mean cause im getting sick of the same old stories I mean they should have a game that takes place after Return of the Jedi like a brand new storyX_XSlashX_XAll the stories after Return of the jedi have allready been writen (see wikipedia for a breif plot rundown), but one area of realy unexplored teritory is long before episode 1. I think it would be realy cool if they did a game based around the sith wars (the war between thousands of sith and jedi that happened aproximately 3996 years before episode VI). Could you imagine the vast scale of thosands of jedi and sith in a massive war!!! It would own all.
"aproximately 3996 years before episode IV?" LOL
Really, it doesn't have to be set in an entirely diferent era, just a new and unexplored aspect of the Star Wars Universe. How do you think Star Wars RPG owners manage to run an entire campaing without, say, facing the emperor, plowing trought Storm Troopers (nevermind. it never gets old), trying to bring balance to the force or destroying weapons of mass destruction every session?.
Republic Commando and Bounty Huntter are a good exemple of how you can set diferent kinds of game genres within the Star Wars Universe without resourcing to the Rebel Alliance x Empire, Sith x Jedi scenarios (there was also that fighting game for psx...).
But if it is going to be another 3rd person, force using, lightsaber wielding game without some really cool additions then...well, we will be buying it anyway. Sucks to be a fanboy.

Well, from what I've heard, Lucast Arts gaming has had a pretty big in house reorganization, meaning they're not going to be letting out so many of their titles to other developers. This could mean we'll see a slow down in their games for a little while. Personally, I'm a huge Star Wars geek, and I think the Expanded Universe, meaning the books and comics, are an untapped resource with plenty of things in them that merit a game. Then again, I've found that Nintendo always seems to get the weakest Star Wars titles (I hate the Rogue Squadron series) However, an excellent first person shooter, is definately in order for the Wii. Actually, you know what would be awesome? A Remake of Dark Forces.snickerscd
I personally would have liked a remake of KOTOR I by switching from a semi-turn based game into a full fledged real-time action game. Now that would be sweet. Suffice to say, KOTOR is one of my favorite games not because it's an RPG but because it's story is so good.

Meh, remakes of games less than five years old always seems like a lame idea to me.Please Log In to post.
