It's the same reason why there are no GBA and Pokemon games on the eshop. Nintendo hates getting a lot of money easily.

They don't want money. I don't buy VC games anyway, since I prefer to buy and own the original games. It's a nice option for those who want cheap older digital versions that are also guaranteed to work.

Nintendo that things like this so slow. I wish they could release lots of their older games at the same time. not every one or two weeks.

no point.

they are all coming to wiiU vc...same for GBA games...those will be on wiiU also

the gamepad is a much bigger screen than the 3ds....and you dont need 3d for this games so the 3ds is not needed...also the resolution of the gamepad is higher so the regular non-3d games will look better on it.

I'd assume the usual incompetence from Nintendo. I don't know why they wouldn't take advantage of the VC on a newer system.

My theory is they want to push more handheld titles.

I think they're going through their back catalog at a slow and deliberate pace.

They really need to consider adding demos for their lesser known titles like this. richeymy9
they do have a little gameplay trailer for every VC game. every game has one on the eshop.

If that were the case we'd have GBA games on the eshop.

That's just a troll account. The same message has been posted in at least four other threads I've seen, at least one in off topic in a thread having nothing to do with games.

I bet Nintendo is working on a unified system for select VCs.

I hope so. It'd be great for people to be able to play their VC titles across all their devices. I don't really plan on getting a Wii U but when the 4DS comes out, It'd be nice if I could play any VC titles I buy now on that.

I'd like them to do it right. Monster Hunter is a sign that they will, though I'm still skeptical. Cross platform play and multiplayer. Say I want to play Double Dragon II--one person on the wiiu and one person on 3DS, etc.

Isn't this pretty much the way to explain Nintendo's whole strategy for the past several years?

doesnt explain why they add nes games, and if they have a game out for the wii eshop then there isnt a reason to not release it for the 3ds, unless it couldnt run it, but then again im sure there are a few games on the 3ds that arent on the wii for reasons other than hardware; but note ive seen video of people playing snes games on their 3ds on youtube and it ran s***ty. i assumed it was the video or w/e software/gadget they were using to run it, now im starting to think its the 3ds.

not to mention maybe you own all of the above but just want to play it on the go. try not to be so shortsighted KBFloYd. your argument might as well be "theres no point, you can just play them on your snes"

Nintendo likes to drag their heels. Besides, I don't see SNES coming to 3DS happening. I'm still waiting for them to finally get around in releasing GBA titles.
