wired wiimote=broken wii
u wud have to be rly carefull with the wire so that u dont accidentally jerk the console onto the ground. and the wire would need to be like 8 feet long and it would look really ugly
You know how much money you'd save from not having to buy batteries though?Its2Easy
Get some rechargeable batteries. I don't feel like the Wiimote actually drains batteries that fast to begin with.
Well how do you explain Guitar Hero on the PS2?lol i can see it now
wii baseball swing the bat and ur wii goes flying across the room
Wii Tennis swing the racket it goes flying across the room
even Guitar Hero activate star power O crap my wii fell down
So no it wouldnt work out unless u want a broken console

Mine runs out of battery so fast. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We had no problem last gen with the GC's controllers being wired. Why didn't they just make the Wiimote wired?Its2Easy
I got fed up replacing the batteries, so I bought the joytech power station its excellent.

hmmmm well if you want a messed up wii then you should give that idea to nintendo.:P stick with wireless

I've spent a total of forty-five dollars on batteries for the Wii, and I also use them for my digital camera and Gamecube controllers. And I bought them two years before I even owned the Wii. That's $45 over the course of four years.
Get rechargeables. You'll save money.

I spent 20 dollars on mine and got a charger and 4 and it's Energizer too so a good make. They can take about 10 hours play time so not as good as others but I always have 2 on charge whilst I play so when the Wiimote ones run out I just switch them. That's a great method, and considering that for that price I could've only gotten about 26 batteries, which'd last about 120 hours, and I've played like 300 hours with my rechargeables, it's awesome.
There you go TC, get rechargeables!

I agree! It's a motion sensing control and you'd limit the range of motions by adding a leash to the remote. Yes, a leash because leashes hold things back.
It is the freedom of the wireless remotes and if your batteries are running out so fast by a charger they dont cost that muchOldFirm
Very true. And the charge stations can charge TWO Wii remotes! You can't beat that.
I think the real question is, why make the nunchuk wired? :oSMR-Venom
Exactly, I really wish there was a wireless nunchuck from Nintendo. :(

wait the wireless nunchuck must bought saperately. I think the real question is why didn't Nintendo make the Nunchuck wireless since they first launch Wii? I'm not spending extra money to get that extra thing which you fix it to your Nunchuck and also Why didn't Nintendo put in a rumble pack in it too. having my right hand feel the rumble while my left hand feel nothing feels sorta unbalanced.
this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. people accidently tripping over wires has done a fair bit of damage to my hardware in the past. Now if I was intentionally violently swinging my arms in large motions I can only imagine the devastation my little white box would take not to mention the plug would likely get yanked out and then I would lose because my controller isn't it.
horrible idea
go away forever

What?!?! I hate wired controllers. And with the remote being motion sensing, i.e., you swing it like a bat, up and down, bowl with it, etc., it would constantly be pulling the wii over.

The Gamecube's wired controllers made it easy to pull the GC off a tv stand. No, wired controllers are dead, and they are never coming back. They are primitive, and have no place in the 21st century. Buy a rechargable battery. I bought 2 for $20, and they plug into the back of the Wii. Also, if you want great wireless gear, try the Kama wireless nunchuck from Nyko.

Not to mention, you could accidently whip each other with the wire while engaging in wii remote action. Wired remote controls are a thing of the past. I hate wired. Cords are a no-no.

Because then it couldn't be called the Nunchuk.
I think the real question is, why make the nunchuk wired? :oSMR-VenomIt makes perfect sense to me to have a Nunchuk with a wire is because you wouldn't really have to move your arms apart and if you did the most you would ever have to move your arms apart is the lenth of the Wire holding the Wii remote and Nunchuk together. also if I have a wireless Nunchuk I think I might lose it eventhough I never lose anything videogame related.
I think the real question is, why make the nunchuk wired? :oSMR-VenomMakes things cheaper and lighter. Prevents confusion (which Wiimote goes to which nunchuk). And gets around the seven device limitation of bluetooth (there's no way you could have four Wiimotes and four Nunchuks connected at once).
You know how much money you'd save from not having to buy batteries though?Its2Easyor you could be smart and buy a recharger and battries for 10 bucks at radio shack. i got a 4 batterie recharger and 6 recharble battiers iirc for about 15 bucks. work great andf im never with out a charge. a cord on the wii mmote would suck bad
