I want either a DS or PSP for Xmas. I know this would be better suited in system wars but I just want to hear the opinions of DS owners. DS is where I am leaning but the only thing that puts me off is the whole touch screen thing. Do you get used to it or what? Tell me whyI should get this system.

Bleach DS, need I say more?

Actually, I think, that if what you want is good looking 3D games, and like RPG games, go for PSP.
But if you'd rather try something different go for DS. Truth be told, I originally felt that the DS(Along the Wii) was just a gimmicky console, but you get used to the touch screen, what's more, you'll en up wanting to use it.A lot.

The touch screen makes gameplay more unique over the PSP, the games seem to last longer IMO and have more of a fun feeling to it, as again with the touch screen makes you more into the game then the regular pressing buttons.

Well, the DS offers a change from the normal d-pad and buttons and lets you get a little more interactive with your games with the touch screen. Plus, the DS has a wide selection of great games.

I wouldn't say you get used to the touch screen because there's nothing to get used to. As long as you don't pick buggy games I can assure you the touch screen will come along easily. And there are games where touch screen use is completely optional. Being backward compatible with GBA games lets you play games without the touch screen as well.

I really loved Zelda Orcina of Time for the N64 (best game of all time imo). I heard that the new zelda for the DS is good, but will the control/grpahics put me off if I am spoiled on the 64 version of zelda? I played a version of zelda for the GBA and I hated it, thought i was boring and the grpahics were unbearable.

Did you not read the review for Phantom Hourglass? The control and graphics were great.
