Bleach DS, need I say more?
Actually, I think, that if what you want is good looking 3D games, and like RPG games, go for PSP.
But if you'd rather try something different go for DS. Truth be told, I originally felt that the DS(Along the Wii) was just a gimmicky console, but you get used to the touch screen, what's more, you'll en up wanting to use it.A lot.
Well, the DS offers a change from the normal d-pad and buttons and lets you get a little more interactive with your games with the touch screen. Plus, the DS has a wide selection of great games.
I wouldn't say you get used to the touch screen because there's nothing to get used to. As long as you don't pick buggy games I can assure you the touch screen will come along easily. And there are games where touch screen use is completely optional. Being backward compatible with GBA games lets you play games without the touch screen as well.
