How laggy are the DS games when played online through WiFi???

I'm getting the WiFi USB adaptor and was wondering about the lag problems.

Comment your experiences please. I guess it will be good if you specify what type of connection you use. Thnx.

If you a modem, it will be better NOT To buy it. The Adapter works perfectly with a 128 KB/s or more.

Don't waste money on an adapter if you can get a wireless router instead. A router gives a better, clearer signal and overall it's just a better buy.

There is no lag for wireless online, that's a myth. What it comes down to is how fast your internet service provider can get the signal from you and then back to you.

Oh, thnx for the suggestion, the only good fact I see about the Adapter is that it's easier to take it with you to another computer.

I guess I'll try to get a Wireless Router for my house.

nope. no lag at all. i have a wifi adapter and it works perfectly. it's great to be able to take it wherever I want. I have taken it to a relative's house before and it still works with their dial up connection.

If you're bringing it to another person's house the adapter is a better idea.

When i use WIFI, it is usually smooth. But sometimes (depending on the person you are playing) it will get laggy.

A lot of games are smooth during wifi play, I hardly get any lag while playing mk & Metroid. THe only game that was laggy for me was Bomberman.

Still need the software and the proper operating system specs. Even then you may have to do some fiddling. Not all isps work with the usb adapter.
