The most similar companies in design and user compatibilty lack connectivity. WTF? It's not fair I'm not able to play online, although i have everything I need, except a crappy computer. Come on Nintendo.

You are able to play online if you pick up a wireless router. The DS does not require the USB adapter to go online.

Go to a store like Best Buy and pick up a wireless router. They cost the same as that USB WiFi thing and they work with more than just Nintendo products.

Nintendo maintains a list of compatible wireless routers here: http://www.nintendowifi.com/customersupport/supportedRouters.do

Nintendo also has some reasonably detailed support pages about how to set up your connection once you purchase a router: http://www.nintendowifi.com/customersupport/SupportHome.jsp
