wii component cables worth it?

i have a 27 inch sony crt tv (it's a really great tv), so will the component cables make my wii games look that much better?

i bought component cables for my xbox and noticed a difference instantly in the colors of the games. they were much sharper, popped more, didn't bleed into each other. and watching dvds on my xbox greatly improved.

i don't have any hdtvs nor plan on getting anytime soon. well maybe next christmas... but until then, will regular composite cables be enough for my wii?

i keep thinking about all the great screenshots of mario galaxy and how it might not look so great with regular cables. comparison screencaps would be much apreciated, if they are allowed on the boards.

they made a nice difference for me..

just like you discribe with your xbox, the jaggies might stand out a little more.. but they're worth it

For me, the jaggies are so bad that they really the game not fun to look at...

Is there a way to change the relolution in the game?

Like I changed the resolution on the console (to 480p) but do you have to do it for the game also?
