Looks kinda cool actually.:P Not really sure what the gameplay is about through.

Since the game is made by former employees of Insomniac and High Impact, I can guess the gameplay would be similar to Ratchet & Clank which it was an awesome platformer.
Don't judge the game because of the graphics. Zack & Wiki was not impressive at first. Zack & Wiki turned to be an awesome game. It's a 2009 title. The graphics will be improved.
From GoNintendo,
"The first title developed by Bionic GamesTM, a newly-formed development team comprised of former Insomniac Games and High Impact developers known for their work on hugely popular franchises Ratchet and ClankTM and Resistance: Fall of ManTM, Spyborgs is a unique action-adventure game set in a stylish world that resembles a Saturday morning cartoon. Engaging players in team-based challenges designed to utilize 2-player co-op play, Spyborgs takes the theme of "team" to a whole new level of fun. In Single-player mode the "team" theme continues as players jump from one member of the superspies' team to the next, rapidly tackling different challenges designed around each character's unique abilities. Fast, addictive gameplay, unique controls offered by the Wii RemoteTM, and a storyline that refuses to take itself too seriously, Spyborgs will provide players with a dynamic and fresh gaming experience like no other."
Don't tell me the concept is not interesting. People are complaining about the graphics that's all.

Still looks like someone said in another thread and what I thought the first time I heard it, a Saturday morning kids TV show. Could be good though, just the conecpt doesn't sound very good.bobbetybob
Just the name me think like that as well.

Reading this well I read this at Gamespot's new section and I can't wait for this game and knowing the developers it seems good. I also like the fact that they are putting fake commercials into the game. From GoNintendo,

Yeah, i just saw it -- i kept hearing about it because i was at school, i was unable to watch it. -- i was also over on the IGN boards (surprisingly our school had it unblocked) and a lot of people were complaining about it, relating it to Ubisoft's Ubidays thing.
I honestly dont see how people are hating this game. I think this is a great concept/idea for a Wii game. If you want RE5, SF4, Dark Void, Bionic Commando, go get a 360 or PS3 along side your Wii

Thing is, this franchise is supposed to be turned into a TV show too, so if it's only being done to promote the show, that will certainly be trash.

Yeah i didnt know about that.
However we shall see. The devs know how to make quality games, so we shall see.

At least they are trying.Gameplay is from a pulled-back third-person perspective, and involves smashing up enemies and solving puzzles co-operatively using a mixture of analogue stick and button attacks and Wiimote gestures. Environments in the sewer section we saw were basic but stylised, with comedy enemies like flying crocodiles with rocket launchers and poo-covered teddy bears.
To give the game a cartoon feel, the campaign will be split into "episodes" and each will actually have advertising breaks - playable joke mini-games with gesture controls, like a rhythm-action banjo session promoting a plumbing firm called 2FISTED, and a frenzied boxing game for Nukem Now Robots.
Although ostensibly for two players, with basic puzzle design derived from this, the game will also work as a single-player experience with the AI controlling the second character. Each level will use a combination of two characters, whose abilities range from powerful punch attacks (Wii Sports boxing-****motions) to things like acrobatics and skills with bladed weapons.
There will also be rail-shooting sections and showpiece boss fights, and some sections where the whole Spyborgs team assembles.
From what we saw, Spyborgs looks like it has a younger focus, although "all the leads on the team at ex-Insomniac" and they hope the humour from games like Ratchet & Clank will cross over to grown-ups like you and me. Well, you anyway.
Bionic was also adamant that Spyborgs is not a mini-game compilation or throwaway exercise for the team, which has been assembled specifically for its production. "We want to be on the Wii - we don't want to port over a game like everyone else," designer Mike Stout explained. "Most of the games on the Wii are ports or micro-games and we think gamers are getting sick of that," he explained.-Eurogamer's Tom Bramwell

I'm liking what I hear

This could be the Wii's Ratchet & Clank. And even tho those screens were dissapointing graphically, the trailer gave a much more positive vibe and also knowing the team working on this is reassuring. It still has lots of development time left, so I'm sure the graphics will improve.
ooohh.. so this is the spybrog thingy.... Thx machine ..
hmmm.. no expecting much
.. but may be cool

I really don't know how I feel about this one yet. Now, while I don't "need" games to be violent or mature themed, at the same time I also really want my Wii games to start looking like next gen Wii games. The ones they can be. I'm not normally a graphics whore, but this game needs some serious tech to impress me. It's just something I'm really into right now and with Capcom making a game called Dark Void for the 360 and PS3, I can't help but feel a little shunted getting a "saturday morning cartoon show-like" gamecalled Spybots.
Now understand that I do feel the game could be good. Great even if...you know...it's MADE well. I LOVED Zack & Wiki so don't misunderstand my roots and where I come from. But being 27 and having already played enough "E for everyone" games on my Wii I'm really ready for beautiful, techy, AAA, mature themed (not necessarily violence themed mature) games that just kick my ass. Right now Spybots doesn't look to be it. I'm not writing it off and I'm excited to see it progress, but it needs to push the Wii and it needs to be aimed at higher than cartoon kid crowd. It's just what I'm really into right now. Here's hoping! :D

I agree with that line! I'm 28 and have played through decades of Mario games and all other E games, but like you I'm ready for something different. Madworld is probably the only game that piques my interest right now and that's ages away from being released. I never would've thought Sega would be creating my next most anticipated game, but I've always loved Sega.
It reminds me of Jak and Daxter or Ratchet and Clank, big plus there, and the team behind it is awesome, another plus. I'm really excited for it right now. Where did that one guy hear about it being turned into a TV show? The game is supposed to mock saturday morning TV and stuff, hopefully he got it confused with that, I don't want a crappy TV show to go along with this game.PicklechuggerOn IGN the developers said they picked Capcom because they had success with turning their IPs into Cartoons, Movies, or Comic Books and that is what they want Spyborgs to become. But it can still have good quality because Viewtiful Joe became a TV series, so did Devil May Cry it also became a Book. Resident Evil had Comic Books (I think) and 3 movies going to be 4 movies.
