Really? LOL
I wasn't checking it on purpose because I wanted the blue light to stay on for awhile. It looks so cool in the dark.
^All the original poster said was that the blue light came on which it has done since launch. He didn't specify any difference. How was I supposed to know?
I did just download the update and it definately is more of a pulse than before but still nothing amazing. The updated shop channel on the other pwns. I hope Nintendo makes more of these small functionality updates. Here's hoping for a more organized channel setup.
I'm not sure if I know what everyone's talking about anymore.
I've only seen the blue light one other time before today. I only seem to get it when I get an important email from Nintendo.
People are making it sound like they see it everytime they put the system on stand by.
Someone please explain this clearly: Does this update allow us to turn the blue light on or off at will?
Conjuration
No it does not.
The blue light flashes briefly when you turn the Wii on and when you put in or take out a disc also the light comes on when its in stand by mode if you get a message.

When you put in a game or eject it the blue light will pulse for like 3 seconds. Before it would just flash.

Ok, but it's always flashed on for a second when I turn it on or insert a disc. That's nothing new.

Exactly, now it pulses. Nothing too exciting but it pulses instead of flashing for a split second.
[QUOTE="Garygok"]The blue LED always came on for a second when you slip a disk in there. At least it does for me.Duckman5
Yes but now it pulses instead of a split second flash.
