Since everyone is saying there a lot of badWii games that disappoint your expectations what are some of these games and why do they disappoint.

I think Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 is the biggest disappointment for any Wii game because im a big fan of the series and when i heard it was going to be out for the Wii i was excited. But once I played it i was very disappointed, no specialty matches.

for me it was probably Madden 08 and Super Paper Mario.....Madden 08 because Madden 07 was such a great game, and 08 just didnt even seen like as good of a game, taking out the double juke and just didnt play as well to me as 07 did....as for Super Paper Mario it's the prime example of a game that's good just didnt quite live up to it's potential.....the battle system or lack there of just didnt play out well compared to the other Paper Mario games or Super Mario RPG...

I went to pick up Metroid Prime 3 on launch day, but after I saw it in action I was not impressed, so I picked up a used PS2 game. After having played MoHH2, with 32 player online, I wouldn't even think of buying Metroid Prime, which has no onlin at all, until it costs less than $30.

Twilight Princess.

I was expecting the best Zelda game yet, and instead I got another sequel to OoT. It even had the same problems as OoT. And the story was horrible.

It was good, though. Definitely one of my favorites. But at the same time... very disappointing.

ahh man loved that game...to me it was probably one of the most underrated games of the year......still the only video game besides DDR type games that has ever made me sweat (the final boss).

Super Paper Mario. Don't get me wrong. It's a great game, I just wish they would have stuck with the original formula. It was also very easy and pretty short.

Twilight Princess was a cheap Gamecube port with no graphical improvements, no added content, no online, and horrible motion controls. I played the Gamecube version, which was delayed over a year just to launch that cheap wii version.

Because this is the 21st century. They could have had plazas to meet people and trade items, they could have downloadable areas, etc. You know exactly what they could have done.

If you want that kind of crap, go get a 360. The Zelda franchise would be just plain stupid if it had anything like that.

I totally agree with all of you most of these games were good and some were great, but there could of been so much more that they could of put in. INcluding online play most of these games could of had online in one way or another including Zelda.

Mario Party 8. There is so much luck in the board game that skill at the minigames or anything else becomes entirely irrelevant. What's the fun in playing a game where the winner is ultimitaley decided by a dice roll? If anything it shouldn't have been a 50 dollar game. Besides that I got pretty much what I expected out of super paper mario, twilight princess etc.

SSX blur. I got it because it got a 7.4 on GS and I liked the SSX series. But it was really boring, you couldn't unlock any other levels, and the Uber trick was horrible.

Oh and for anyone who hated MP3. You have no taste.

Super Paper Mario: Short, easy, tons and tons of text, boring gameplay and a very bad story.

Far Cry Vengeance: Need i say more?

Mario Strikers Charged: Is not as good as the first one (i havent tried the online though)

WarioWare: Short, Overrated, Uninteresting and the list goes on and on

I agree with everyone and i think all of the games that were mentioned did disappoint me. I guess most Wii games are good but there could be a lot more added, and somethings need to be improved. Such as online play most of the games mentioned could have online in one way or another. Also most of the games for the Wii are ports that are exactly ports with nothing added like Resident Evil: 4 which could of had more added like online, but it was still a great game.

The 21st is not begun in the industry. Bioshock or Assassin's Creed are not online either.

Hold on here. There was NOTHING wrong with Ocarina of Time. It was... and I dare say it: PERFECT!

I think Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was mildly dissapointing because all the other systems got much higher reviews than the Wii version.

Mario Party 8. It was the same as the others, nothing new. Of course they added a few more additions but those failed to stand out to me. I washoping there would be more maps and something new.

Sonic and the Secret rings, Zelda Twilight Princess.

Reasons..Sonic all around I thought was horrible, the way you had to play it.

Zelda, not very hard, horrible ending.

Red Steel. The first time I looked at the trailer, I was amazed. Sadly after buying it, it turned out to have really bad controls.

Many. Sonic, Super Paper Mario, Rayman, The Simpsons, Wii Play, othersbut the worst would be Super Mario Gal..............just kidding. Super Monkey Ball is the worst and most utter dissapointment.

Ironically, I thought Red Steel was suprisingly good due to my initial low expectations for the game. And I also thought the GC version of Zelda TP was by far superior to its Wii counterpart.
