Wii got old too fast.

Picked mine up a month ago, played Wii sports and TLoZ: TP and it got boring. I picked up RE4 and Wii Play as well, but its still boring.

Not even the VC makes me want to play.

Brawl need to come out soon, or I might end up selling this thing.

The Wii can be boring at times, but when the games talked about at E3 come out, than it wouldn't be boring any more. Just Don't play it for a while.

Sure, I'll go out and waste money on mediocre multiplatform games. Out of those, I'd only consider SPM to purchase - the rest are garbage.

it depends on who and how many people you play it with, or lack there of. most of the fun of wii sports is played with others. same thing with warioware. invite a ton of friends over to play with your wii ( no pun intended) and you might change your mind.

but if you like really deap, and exciting first player games wait for the big three to come out. just be patent.

Try staying on topic next time, and without a social life the Wii is pretty much useless - so therefore I would have never gotten one without one.

Are you trying to say, without trying to draw much attention to yourself, that you have no social life?

Wii is misunderstood.
It's not what it is, it's what you make of it.

Of course your going to get bored with just3 games and one of them.

I beat Zelda, played Wario Ware and Rayman for a couple of days. Played Metal Slug twice. Outside of that I only rent Wii Games. I never play it. If I do it would be to check news or Wii Vote.

I have Super Paper Mario, but lost interest cuz I have all consoles. Mario Galaxy and Metroid can't come out any sooner.

Forgive me if I came off as insulting in my previous post. I wasn't trying to be. But yes, to get the maximum enjoyment out of the Wii (or any video game system, sport, or whatever), you need to have friends/family play with you. It's really no fun alone. By yourself video games are just a time-waster. I like to use electronic entertainment as a tool in building, and cultivating relationships. So call up some friends or family to play, get a girlfriend/boyfriend and try to interest that person in playing with you. If you're shy, there's always online gaming. pbjsystems

Well I wouldnt be too sure about that. I have a big family. Usually the Wii is ONLY fun for us when we play together. But I can play my PS3 or 360 by myself and not lose too much interest.

The main reason for this is 'deep single player games'. Which the Wii kinda lacks right now (my tatses at least). I know it will get better, and time will tell. Time is the key for all consoles.

Your narrowminded petty attitude is whats sad. Im sure you have a great social life considering youve gotten tired of a brand new game system and 3 games inonly amonth.

Go to blockbuster and try some games out...hell .get all of those friends you have to chip in and have a party..

My "invalid response" didn't stop you from invloving my social life in to this discussion. Honestly, most of the games you recommended are garbage - they bring nothing new to the table and I'm sure I could find a similar and more enjoyable title.

I'm not narrow-minded, I just dont have all the money in the world to be buying games left and right - so I only get games I know will be worth my money and time.

Funny thing is - every game but SPM he recommended weren't published by Nintendo. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy, SSBB, No More Heroes and Wii Fit are all titles I will be getting in the near future. So it will be awhile until Nintendo actually disappoints me, but until then I'll have to wait patiently.

That response would only really matter if he played those games on the gamecube, otherwise they're just original expiriences.
