Come on guys, keep posting. This is classic. Anyway, I'm going to answer your question just so I don't provoke a war or something. No.

I had the console since it launched so I could play LoZ and can honestly say It's been collecting dust since I completed it (great game BTW). Sometimes I wish I got an X360 instead...

LOL.So sad considering you havent played any of them. I guess someone doesnt have any friends to play with.

jts31689

without a social life the Wii is pretty much useless

Hence why you're bored with it. Next time you ask people for their opinion try being nicer to the people who actually contribute.

*watches flames fly*

Please, just stop.

In all favor of the TC, the point he is trying to make is that the Wii has yet to hit its golden age. I will admit that I have not played my Wii for a while now. Even my 360 has gotten old. Why? This is the time of year where all the huge games are revealed, but none of them are being released until late fall/the holiday season. The Wii is on a drought of decent games. That is at least something most of us can agree on. The good games mentioned are okay for a while, but after completing each one and doing all there is to do, there's nothing to keep you hooked. The VC games are great, but every now and then, you really want to play something new. Right now, it all seems like a blurred mixture of bad games, especially with games like Battle Revolution and Chicken Shoot hitting shelves.

The Wii seems to have lost what made it appealing in the first place. The motion sensing controlsmany third-party publishers have createdare all extremely uncomfortable. Perhaps the only decently controlled games are first party at the time. I've had my Wii for six months now, and it's losing its appeal. Wii Sports can only last so long, too. Many of the Wii's games have caused me to drop the controller midway through a game and never play it again. It's like you lose intrest suddenly. This, I can guarantee, has happened to everyone somewhere along the line, and for me, it just so happens that it occurs mostly while playing Wii games.

Does that mean I'm going to sell my Wii? No. Does that mean no good games will ever hit the Wii? No. You witnessed for yourself in the E3 press conference what was up Ninty's sleeves. Come this holiday season, interest will return with the massive titles promised at E3.

Do we have to spark a flame war? Really? Once Brawl is here, everyone will be happy.

No thank you. I do not need a flame shield.

Hmm...is the Wii boreing for me...

Well not really...I just downloaded Super Mario Bros. 2 from the Wii shop which, IMO is the best game for the NES. I play that game at least 2 hours a day.

I used to play my Wii Sports but sadly my disc died

Bottom line is a video game system is an investment. Anyone will get bored with 2 or 3 games if thats all they have. Im just tired of every other thread being "Im bored with my wii" and seeing these people have 2 or 3 games. Put in the money or find something else to do fill your time. I have a 360 and only own Gears of War, Fight Night andVegas (3outstanding games) and imborded to tears with that system. Because ive chosen to buy Wii games instead. Im not going to whine about it to people becausei chose not to get new games. And no one needs to spend "$100's of dollars" . Rent some games. There are at least a dozen games worth renting if not buying on the wii .

Picked mine up a month ago, played Wii sports and TLoZ: TP and it got boring. I picked up RE4 and Wii Play as well, but its still boring.

Not even the VC makes me want to play.

Brawl need to come out soon, or I might end up selling this thing.

Anyone relate to this?

jts31689

I can relate. I feel that the majority of the games released for the system are aimed at little children. :?

i felt the same way as the thread starter ...i got a wii for christmas as a gift , i liked my wii for about 2 weeks , then i just found myself losing interest in the whole controller thing ... the games were not appealing to me either ( i played about 9 or ten different gamesbut i dont feel a need to list them all so you guys can just pick my list apart saying those games suck)... and before i sold the wii everyone was saying , dont sell it wait till the good games come out , wait till the "big 3 " come out ... Mario galaxy , Super Metroid , and some other Mario games ?? whoooptie freakin doo !! after hearing that those were the games to carry the system that put the final nail in it for me !! im just not excited about some cartoony kid games ... and yes i LOVE GAMES , just not cartoony kid games !! im not trying to bash the system tho , im just saying i can relate to the thread starter

Jesus, you guys type way too much, if you can't summarize your thoughts in a few sentences then write me a book and I might pick it up since I'm so bored with my Wii at the moment.

I didn't come here to get a descent amount of reading done for the summer.

Well, if you only buy a few games, any system can get boring, like when i had a 360, all i had were PDZ, CoD3 and Oblivion, i ended up selling it for Money to buy my wii.....and i did not regret it.

But more games, then your system will not be as boring, even games aimed at Kids can be fun.

I don't play as much than before since I'm working (I'm a contracted worker. My contract is going to end at the end of August.) right now.I downloaded Paper Mario and I'll soon rebeat it since I'm now at Chapter 7.

My wishlist on my sig (things could be removed) could be worth for at least 1 yearand maybe more with Mario Kart online and Super Smash Bros Brawl possibly online.

But this thread won't last long. Bored or not, you should do something else. Video games are not supposed to be a lifestyle but an hobby.

I only said I was bored with my Wii, not life. The console itself is boring me, but other than that I'm just fine.

You do realize that there are more than just the big 3 coming out this year and the next year....
