I have the chance to get Wii Play tomorrow. i read Gamespot's review and they were iffy. Then i went to the user reviews and half the people thought it was amazing, and the other half gave it 1's. I heard that if you liked Wii Sports, then you will like this game. Is this true? Because I LOVE Wii sports (my Favorite Wii game so far). I just want to know if I will give it a 1 or a 10, because I already have 2 Wiimotes so I'm not dying to get a new one, but I would like a Wii sports sequal.
I bought it for the controller and just sold the game. The game doesn't look like it's worth to keep, so I sold it while I still could get a hefty price for it.

Uhhg I watched a video and they look pretty fun though. I would like another controller, and me and my bro have this rivalry thing going with Wii sports (especially golf). Whats 2 player ping pong and pool like? Those look good. Also whats two player air hockey like? In general, hows the multiplayer? Will I want to play this game?
It aint bad as such, I've had fun trying to collect all the platinum medals, trouble is it's a very small game, only really worth $10-$15 (hence why it packed with a remote). So if you don't need the remote, it really isn't worth it.
You could compare the games to the mini games in mario party I think, give or take a bit of fun depending on the game :P

I didn't even bother to open it and try it, so I couldn't tell you. I wanted to keep the value of it up as much as possible before selling it. It was something I knew I wouldn't care to pass up. It's basically a game package with a remote. That's not saying much.
i dont have it but my guess is its only worth it if you want another controller, than its like a bonus cuz you get a free decent game... the rumor was that it was originally supposed to come out w/a black controller, i was pretty upset when i heard this was false, as w/most rumors... i really really want a different color wiimote and no im not painting mine, i did that w/my xbox and its just not the same when its not factory

painted the big X on it silver and cleared out the green logo on top so its clear and have a blue led glowing through it (with an on/off switch)... sorry i couldnt show you a pic but i lost my temporaily lost my digital camera
Wii play was not really intended to be a game. It was intended to only be a tech Demo to show the Wii's capabilities. However, the game is really $10, so I guess it's worth it.

Well the game is $50 and it comes with a Wiimote. A Wii mote is $39.99, so its basically a $10 game. I would get it just for that. The game is pretty good though, and if you like Wii Sports, then you'd probably enjoy Wii Play as well.
put it this way if it didnt come with a controller it wouldnt be worth it. but its worth $10 i would say. so if you need a controller get it. p.s. its more fun with another person.

Where did you sell it at Gamestop or something? Do they just take the game without the Wiimote? And if so how much do they give you back for it?
i got lucky and didnt have to pay for it. we needed another remote, so my mom picked this up. I have to say the minigames are fun, for about a minute. Mii Pose is actually pretty addicting for some reason, idk why i just like it alot.
but i got Okami with this (again more of my mom's generosity), and i think itd be really cool if the Wiimake rumors are true
I think it's a pretty fun game - no wii sports but fun nonetheless. I play pool and air hockey against my husband all the time. It's simple but can be kind of addicitve if you have someone to play it with. You can always sell the wii-mote and keep the game.
You could always just buy the game off ebay without the wiimote ? If you don't need the controller i'd honestly say it's not worth it and to wait until it's available second hand without the wiimote.
I got it for Christmas and only get it if you are in need of a remote - you'll probably only play the games a couple of times each because it feels like a bunch of tech demos and not an actual game

i bought it a few days ago and just played it for the first time yesterday with my friend.....we were having a good time....especially the laser hockey one.....i thought the game was pretty good overall.....i like it
