First party titles I can think of for 2008.

And apparently an amazing Nintendo classic game coming to Wii is going to be announced.

No More Heroes and Disaster Day of Crisis looks awsome and so do the First Party line up, once again another year goes by where most devs almost completely ignore Nintendo.

Crystal Chronicles could either be a big flob, or a great game.

But it's something that I'm looking forward to.

Square Enix is releasing a new dragon quest game for the wii next year as well.

LOL it's pretty funny, so far they have lined up more games for the wii than the ps3 thus far..

I think a lot of times when people say that there are no good games out or there won't be any in the future, they don't play the fun games that are out now. True, not every game can be a AAA, must own, GOTY title, but almost every one of them has some amount of enjoyment.

I only have 6 Wii games now, but hopefully if/when I get that job I interviewed for last week (Visual Designer, if anyone was wondering), my Wii library will definitely grow. So if you're waiting for games to play in 2008, occupy your time playing those you've missed this year. Right now I'm looking forward to No More Heroes, SSBB, and Mario Kart Wii, but I'll be playing Galaxy, MOHH2, and RE:UC until then.

with its sales numbers absolutly not in 2008 you got mariokart ssbb and what ever has been release lately cruisn bwii re uc medal of honor heroes 2 super mario galaxy no more heroes ... this also excludes wii virtual console and wii ware games /channels and 2008 hasnt started yet at e3 you can expect games like fzero donkey kong starfox etc to make a returnmariokart64fan

I swear I'm going to break something if I read one more person hyping Disaster Day of Crysis. That game has shown next to NOTHING of a quality title.Optusnet

it depends if they skimp on the visuals or not

also worried about this lack of games, or lack of attention by developers.

Only things I see coming that I like are spore, mario kart (maybe...I could see this easily getting screwed up), and Legends Of Indy 500 (which probably no one else gives a damn about, but i'm a fan and it will more likely than not get screwed up ha)

There are very few high tier games on schedule for 08, we exhausted those in 07. There are good games coming out, but most of the hype train games came out this year. So no games arent running out, those two games are just the most hyped ones and overshadow the others.Sepewrath

Publishers literally refuse to put as much effort or anything near what it takes to make a good game. No More Heroes is a god send and capcom is making good ports(but ports nonetheless). Elaborate enough?

Even when you look past that. I'm not saying it'll be bad, but the game has shown so little. What is there to hype? The concept? Becaus you could do that with every title....

the game is a wild card and given the development team behind it plus Nintendo's support it looks like it holds alot of promise. I think this is one fo those games where physics and the visuals are really important. Everyone think this game looks like crap but we have only seen beta pictures. We will have to see how it turns out. Hopefully all of the hype is well deserved.
